I was down at the shop and a/b´ some tracks ive made on the Adams a7, genelec 1030 and dynaudio bm5...

The adams really lack the basspart in comparison, but very detailed mid and high... they all have different sound, the Genelecs the most bassy ones...

I think id choose the Dynaudios, but the genelecs are not too bad either. Not that the adams are bad, but I know I probably wouldnt have chosed them of the 3...

and about the inaccuracy issue well its lows mids and highs all together . but mostly the mid section.

Ok,., i was loking for some more specific ideá of exactly how they are lying, cus you seemed to have checked them out properly, and i have a pair so it would be great to know. So far ivé just come to the conclution that they lack a little mid, so our mixes often end ut being to loud and crowded there if we dont think about it,..

Martin, I have the same experience, a little lack in the mid range but nothing terrible, can easily be compensated for. Other than that they are actually quite accurate.           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

I'm gonna get a pair of Adam A7's.
Will replace my KRK RP8 G2's, which broke down partially.
But after reading it lacks somewhat in the bass department, should I add a sub?

Well I got them second hand for 425 Euros.
I thought the price was pretty good, and I needed something better.
I'll see what I will do, maybe save up for the A7X's.

from what i have read the new adam have a bump in the low and a bump in the highs to hype the sound , while the old one was more about flat response and critical sound . it don't mean on is better it s more about taste i guess
