K, solution:

it's a 3/4 beat mixed on a 4/4 beat. that is for every 3 kicks of the 103 bpm you should have 4 kicks of the 142 bpm track, it's not easy to mix that way but it's possible.           Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.

Ok i have a little question, hope i'll make myself clear..
I'm a starting DJ i and i recently had the chance to play on the pioneer DJM-600 mixer with which i had a little problem.
On most mixers i played on till now i had this cue-pgm selector with which i controlled
the level of the monitored track against the level of the currently playing one.
This helps me to level out two tracks with different volume or just to stress out one of the tracks so it'll be easier to beatmatch.
Well this pioneer DJM-600 mixer didn't have that selector..
Well my question is how can i beatmatch hearing both tracks in the monitors without this selector
Alternative question - where did i go wrong with this one ?           LSD is a drug that occasionally causes psychotic behavior in people that have not taken it...

another trick with the wah :
say you are in the middle of a mix between L (going out) and R (coming in) already you changen the bass between them and now you got the highs (maybe some mids) of L riding on R.
now press wah + hold on L, and start playing with it according to the music. what you get is an effect that sounds like another loop on R with effects on it. try it it sounds really cool.           www.a-balter.com for info, shows new tracks and more.

its kind of hard to explain online
you need a guide most of the time to show you
where you go wrong

dunno about others i do so:

sometimes i play a fixed bpm set, mean same bpm all set long (mostly 132) and sometimes i change bpm during set bit do it on a breaks, not during beat part.           Believe your soul !

Hey guys, I was at a party the other night and noticed that the DJs were leaving the crossfader in the centre and using the volume faders to bring the tracks in and out, I was wondering if this is standard for psy mixing or whether its more of a personal choice, I think nearly every DJ that played on the night was mixing this way           Progressive, Full-on? Its all good <;}

As far as i know, psy Djs usually dont touch the cross fader.

while there r many beatmix techniques, i'm preety sure there is consensus about the cross fader.

The cross fader is much more usefull for turntablism
(techno hip hop and so...).

I often use the crossfader, but many pro djs don't. Usually the reasons for that have less to do with the music style than the fact that many mixers at clubs simply have old noisy crassfaders and many djs have just learned to mix without them to save the hassle of dealing with scratchy noisy old crossfaders.           New Album: Jikkenteki - Flights Of Infinity
