i fully believe in mental manipulation thru sound, but to predecide what the outcome will be in my honest opinion is impossible...
everything on this earth is vibrating at a frequency, maybe too high or low for us humans to pick up but its certainly happening....

Sauba sog i ! Where are you now?
And common... no one is as serious as us germans!
If any stereo type was ever true it is that the germans are the most serious, the jews have the best jokes and the english the best sense of humor... oh, and the californians love sharing the experience
I even might have met you in Starnberg? When were you there? I am from bavaria myself...

two points
1) my opinion - in this case not alterable, neither correct nor incorrect, it just is.
My brain finds the 55/110/220/440/880 maths far more intuitive.
2) This is not opinion. This is plain fact. I don't give a shit whether anyone agrees with me or not here.
Perfect pitch (and with the environment I grew up in, I know a lot of people with it) is a very funny thing.
It varies from day to day in its accuracy in a lot of people. Some people have it one day and not the next.
Some people have it more accurately from one day to the next.
Some people have 'nearly' perfect pitch, or acquired pitch, whereby they can say sing one note, and then relate another pitch to that note. Or it may be that hearing another pitch destroys that sense of the note. (this is what I have, based around middle c - I'm a cellist by training(this is relevant to the pitch that my realative pitch takes)).
Of the many people I know, most are pianists, perhaps unsurprising given that its pitch is relatively more static then most other instruments.
Every single modern in style piano is tuned to 440. The frame is set up this way. Its designed to 'ring' on a piano tuned to this scale. Anyone with a modicum of experience with a pro piano which has just been tuned will tell you how different a playing experience it is when the piano is well tuned.
Every single one of the people I know with perfect pitch relates the tuning to piano pitch and the 440 scale, either because that is the instrument they play, or they tune their instrument to it accordingly, because that is what it is designed to be tuned to.
In Salisbury cathedral, where I have played with an orchestra, the organ is tuned to 444hz for A. This was a major problem as many of the flutes could not tune sharp enough to hit 444. Similarly, if you go down 8hz, then the extremes of range for a lot of instruments will get wonky.
On the cello, or any other stringed instrument the string crossings will be at different positions of the fingerboard.
A guitar would find that the frets were no longer in the right place.
It would perhaps be sensible to look at what perfect pitch is, and how it is acquired, or rather discovered in a person.
Having said all that. Tuning is also a funny thing. A decent string player or vocalist will push the boudaries of accpetable tuning. Going a touch (literally, just a touch) sharp increases tension in performance. A smidge flat is more laid back. And of course vibrato is the mask of those with poor technique.
What I am certain of (opinion here), being of the cusp of perfect pitchedness myself, and having had several very, very in depth converstaions with my mother who is a professional accompianist and highly succesful piano teacher with razor sharp perfect pitch most days and key related synthaesthete, is that perfect pitch is a function of memory, and as such is nothing to do with actual hz at all, only what someone is familiar with. .
