yeah, looks quite good..but you see it exatly that through phase doubling certain frequencys got boosted, i think its because of the floor..do you got any carpet in the room?           -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

the 50Hz peak is about 20db lol
and the 90Hz valley nearly the same^^

my speakers distances are 67cm from the side and 60cm from the front wall and i sit at 38% of the room...

thx zork, maybe ill borrow one, if i got my focals...

i did much meassuretesting and the 50/90HZ peak/valley are the same most of the time...

man you can forget that 38 % rules , just start from there and find the postion where it sound the best imo , a logical way is first find the best place for the low end and then put the abosrbers on the wall acording to that place, broadband abosrbers dont work in the low but monitors placement can really make a difference, i would try the oposite, the window in your back , or movind the monitors somewhere else(like closer to each other, closer from the back wall or less, getting alsmot the same distance from each walls or a multiple is very bad i think ). imo other than proper placement that can help you can t do nothing expect spending lot of money to get a flat low end or changing room

lol SURE! ethan winer told this at his homepage...
no, seriously how should i know it better?

i can move 1 meter at most... im not interested in dismouinting my bed (fixed...) and the fresh mounted traps...
and, i would say i got good results with cheap speakers and 100€ treatment until now...
so it cant be that bad... and as mentioned before, there are not so much instruments at 50Hz...
but i definitively will try as much positions as possible for the bassissue!

lol anything wrong with my speakerdistance because you quoted me zork?^^

and here the first masteringstudio pic on google, notice the floor!

and...

seems not uncommon huh?

if you got good enough bass absorbers you might not need thik carpet...but for project home studio i just can recommend..

yeah..seems like..but those people got pro sound absorbtion, were every piece of absorber gets measured...you can be right for sure..it was just a suggestion..
