I know there was already a thread somewhere on this but its too hard to find on the search...
What the f%#$ is it with these guys, they released a tetrameth track from his album on zenon months ago, and we have recieved no payment, not even an email from them despite the fact i have sent them multiple emails to multiple adresses. And i know they have done this to other labels and artists, how long can they go on like this and scam us, making money off our back...BOYCOTT YSE!!!

could it be that YSE licensed the track from the other label and the deal is between the labels? I guess the track was allready sold once since it was on an album? |

Hi Tim, sad to hear that.
YSE is really strange company. For theyr last cd (Goahead 10000 or so), they licensed track from us as well.
In the beginning it went normaly (as several times before), but then they stoped comunication at all.
1st i tryed to contact guy called Ben (no answer at all), so i went to mister Alexander Ligowski. I think he was kinda surprised that someone is calling him. He played the role of not knowing anything about anything, tyred from the weekendgig guy etc...(lame if us ask me)..that last for 10 days. Nothink happend.
So i decided to call to the company itself and luckyli i found out the guy called Michael Harris. This guy made his job perfectly, found the solution in 5 minutes, apologizes for the mistakes and also sent the payment!
So if you guys having troubles with YSE - get in touch with this guy, as he is the most profesional and responsible and we were able to deal pretty fast and easy.

(good will be also if you can complain about the work of theyr representatives as it really sucks).

YSE is well known for screwing up big time.

They say they want to talk and solve everything but this is just lies, they just stop replying the e-mails.
Of course some people will stand up and say they did good business with them, but WAIT, if a lot of people got screwed by them and they didn't show at least the respect to explain the situation this probably means if you're going to do business with them you'll have a considerable change of joining the screwed group.

why don't you people sign contracts with the labels you release on ? and if you do, read them first !!!
and how about ask for payment upfront ??
they contacted me to sub-license a track from our Rewired compilation and after some negotiations, they just stopped to contact me. I had specified advanced payment before sending them our track. maybe that is why they didn't respond to my other e-mails.. They never released the track so i have no beef with them.
be careful who you deal with.
