I actually had a good time only cause of the beautiful faces around me. Music was allright, for me YB didn't sound well, Benji played a good set, but looked bored at times. SP always scores with his oldies. Surrenders set was real good, but too short.
But not only ended the party at 6 and they promised till 7.(Tsunami always lies to you.) The long line, the horrible crowd, the harrassement, no space, the fights, the police arresting people in the back.
I don't understand that Simon and Benji enjoy actually playing in these circumstances for people who have no intrest and have their followers suffer like this to hear them play, if their only concern is getting a fat check afterwards, I lost all my respect for them.
No more of this for me.
@ Ichirock, Fabs, Luna, Joe, Arrya, Oren ... you guys made my night

I had fun, i mean the crowd was shitty but w/e the music was AWESOME..... around like 2 am i just put the crowd aside and had fun..... also can we say shady security????!?!?!?! omg they were arresting people and like pulling people into private rooms?!?!?!? i was kinda shocked.... but w/e! Also i mean i'm very open to people comming into the psy scene, but i think some people really need to rethink their meaning of what the comunity is.... just because you you look unique in a club on doesn't mean your a "psytrancer" ..... basically people need to learn some respect! but enough with the neg again... Who decorated? I loved the art work! see you all around... erik

Security took my friend aside and made him empty his pockets. took everything, money and all and then tossed him out. Such a pity, we WERE having a good time, I've waited since this summer to see SImon, YB, Conspirator. I missed conspirator however, due to the terrible line. One thing I thought was funny was that no one had any clue what was going on at all. Everyone was falling all over the place, not to mention melting into the floor. NYC chewed us up and spit us out that night, but before all the nonsense it was a really good time. To all you people who went upstairs. Is that a VIP area? I would have liked to watch from up there, there were way too many people in there.
Thanks Benji, you did us all dirty. Great set. Same for the rest, I couldn't stay past Simon, as my friend was tossed out, but I had a great time.

welll.....
what a concert!!
yes a concert!
i agree with most of the complaints ....crowded, weird people(all those lost clubbers withouth having a clue about what was hitting them was funny tough...), long line, fu***d up security.....
i did like most of the crowd in the beggining, even tough there were the normal club people....there were a lot of the "jam band" crowd, which gave a very different look when mixed up with the trancers...more colours and dreads! really liked jeg's idea on this one....i was lucky enough to not see any fights, no beer on my head and any ignorant individual grabbing any girls against their will...

cmon...can the music get any better?
conspirator was interesting even tough very primal music(not tribal i mean) but...week synthesis and kind of boring after a while....
YB came in changing the whole vibe....a lllooooooonnngggg build up. giving time to everybody to get used to the different vibration...(lost a part of it since the big bad security grabbed me and kicked me out of the club(after trying to get my $$$ of course)....a little problem....but a lot of confusion and 10 minutes later i was back into the sound vibrations
prometheus was very nice in most of his set, a little boring at some point ... but he kept it grooving
simon....no words!............................................................. besides wonderfull, crazy, psychedelic, twisted...out there! As someone said, why to even try to make trance if SP comes and makes it MUCH better ??
after the last one in the fall which was a little weak, this time he completely blew, melted, blended and opened my mind. thanks a lot for the inspiration!!!

The party started for me as soon as I found out about Younger Brother coming to New York.
I was lucky to come across Receptive track years before the album came out and since
then I've been looking forward to hear more from Yonger brother. Then there was Evil And Harm
and then The Finger which fuelled my anticipation even more. No surprise that A Flock Of Bleeps
quickly became and still remains one of my favorite albums.
When I saw the line I freaked out! I don't remember anything like that since the crazy Twilo days
when Sasha und Digweed used to spin there back in the 90's. I really wanted to hear the Conspirators
but instead I spent nearly an hour waiting in line. There was a guy in front of me
in a Salem ad shirt sayng: "inside is not what you expect" or smth like that. It turned
out to be quite true. I got in just at the beginning of Younger Brother set.
First thing I noticed was a Limp Biskit crowd like someone mentioned before. It was rather surreal to see people
dancing to Yonger Brother hip hop style! I had a few laughs as I dropped some. Go Younger! Go Brother!
Yo! Yo! cheered one kid in a baseball hat. I could care less about that but the biggest disappointment
was the sound. It was so muddy and heavy that all the beautiful sounds and melodies simply
drowned in it like in a thick bubbly soup. Still I somehow managed to enjoy familiar pieces but it was
more like looking at precious stones through the glass stained with dust and fingerprints. Still
Very beautiful and inspiring!
Prometheus set was a biggest surprise. Very precise and clean yet alive and creative and
totally mind-blowing at times! I remember shedding my body and flying free for some time as I danced to
some insaaane tunes. At that point I was really able to feel and hear a stream of innovation and fresh ideas
in the set and that was the happiest feeling!
During Hallucinogen I moved to the center of the floor and the sound seemed much better there. At the same
time it was a pure torture as I could hardly move! I felt like I was in some sort of fishtank filled with all kinds of exotic
fishes, amphibias and many other colourful creatures moving in this gel-like substance which was a lot of fun!
The music was an amazing adventure through many dEmentions! I'm shaking as I write this lol. I can only hope that I'd be able to experience some of this fresh uninhibited sound again sometime soon! Thank you everybody! One of the best parties in spite of

BTW what was that distubing vocal track towards the end of the Hallucinogen set?
I think a new genre was born that night. I'd call it horror house lol. But seriosly that
was a twisted track. It was full of deception. At times it sounded rather clubby then
those demented industrial vocals which reminded me of X-Dream, then those really
harsh evil sounds almost painful. I remember a few ppl leaving during that track either
disguisted with it's mood or disappoined with the clubby part or both.

The music was incredible, the crowd - well enough has been said about the dirty aspects of the crowd ..

mamamaaaa mia youngger brother was simply incredible .. and then of course, simon himself turned some neurons inside out with his set, which was a real set this time as opposed to the last time at spirit ..

also, they seemed to have moved that big round thing from behind the dj booth and put it on the ceiling - massively good move in my opinion, the deco was nice ..

although still, in such weird surroundings, up in front near the left speaker was the old school, digging away for all they were worth - much mad fun was to be had in this corner, free from the weirdo rappers and tricked out wonton vendors who had taken over the back of spirit completely ..

thanks so very much, ex and mrs. monkee , for putting the space in that night - hoo haaa ! luverly musiic, great to have all the usuals there and rocking it away, joseph, karma, shammy n babla n crew, gadi, the dope and geshtunken - great to see you you guys .. ( by the way, will the munna who stole my tribal papers please stand up .. please stand up .. )

great night - fantastic music, lots of the right people, and if you let the rest bother you, you're losing out .. tune out to the things that bother you, and focus in on that which you enjoy ..

oh, and on a closing note .. just to appreciate one aspect of the night - to come on as a dj after the absolute peak of posfords set takes balls of steel, and an impressive playlist if you want to hold the floor's attention - gadi - you did an incredible job of that, was shaking from left to right and up and down and generally alll over through your set - it was INCREDIBLY unfortunate that it had to get cut short so early, but then such is life .. i know yoni is attached to j.e.g's tsunami, and is entitled to a set .. still though, amazing energy gadi, the floor was on its head !!!!

          paagal power ..

next time there is a tsunami party, you should have yoni and gadi, and possibly a 3rd act.

god... i am very suprised to see some things on this review to the party...

i have never been to a party here in america and will be sure to be at one/many during my stay. but there are some things that really shock me...

fights? whatever happened to the whole good mood trance scene, i know 90% percent of most posters here on forum are ones against the fights.. but fights in a trance party are totally uncalled for... i understand that most ppl(non trance lovers) go to the partys for the drugs or cause of "hey lets go to the club lol", but these are issues that the promoters of the party should handle... its there party nevertheless, if they see some violent..bad..or unfriendly action the ppl should be imidiatly thrown out of the party.. ppl pay alot of money, suprisingly alot of money being 40 dollars witch is madly expensive, to have a good time not to be confronted with these rude actions wich has nothing to do with our trance comunity...

another thing promotors should be held even more liable for is the securitys...getting arrested at a party?!?!?! taking ppl to private rooms?!?!?! i mean come on wtf is that? it tottaly ruins a true trance party ambiente, what the hell? ur dancing having fun for wich u deserve after the madness price of 40 dollars, and ur seeing ppl get arrested behind u, and being taken to private rooms for god knows what... i think at least take the ppl to the door, not in the party...

do the promotors even care about there reputation???

very sad actions for a party i must say this shocks me alot

Unfortunately the promoters of this party mostly just care about making money.... It's been my experience at not just this but lots of Tsunamoney parties...I could go on about how one of the DJ's was also waiting in line for this party, but enough said.

Since i saw the post for this party i knew i wouldn't be able to go but i had the feeling the music could be so amazing specially having Hallucinogen, Prometheus, Surrender (i hadnt listened anything of Conspirator's music), kind of muisc that i like to dance and to listen a lot ................

Unfortunatly i wasnt there but i'm glad the trance people, the known names (at isratrance forum of course) the known faces, the friends enjoyed the music and felt as good as the music itself. dance and breathe
