Gamma-fuckin'-Goblins......
Simon... Can I take a look at inside of your brain?? I really wanna see how it is like.

I actually had hard time with the crowd but did enjoy all the music they dropped. Just wished Gadi continued to play till the end, though...

Thank Tsunami for bringing all these amazing artists to the city.
Thanks to all the artists. You guys did incredible jobs...

@ FabsUSA
Glad you found me and thank you for looking after me, my friend! hehehe

I Think That was one of the worst parties I ever went...

Not that NYC Parties seems to be good in general specially
Tsunami but that one was just so Bad...

First what the fuck with that Line ????
It extended across the whole Block...and it didn't seems to move pretty fast we had to give up and come back around 2AM To Get In...

Second The People...just looking at that obnoxious line of people you could think you were going to a Blink 182 concert...many teenagers dressed in sweat pants

Where are the colourful trancers in NY ???
not mentionning the fact that many people didn't have a clue about who was playing last night...
So basically the crowd inside looked like a few psytrancers
lost in a sea of rude sweaty teenagers
not mentionning those groups of Asian New Yorkers that stay on their own and are totally fucked up on drugs

So many people just didn't have a clue about trance party for them it was just another club night and I'm sorry but the people are the party so wit a crowd like that what can you expect...

Third The Place itself

The decoration could have been really better just a few drapes and that poor sea dragon on his own...
come on guys you can do better than that
smaller organizer do actually

The sound was really awful unable to deal with the super
Bassy twisted Sound

Fourth the Music itself

Seems like The Twisted crew when it's coming to dancefloor music is really moving from the Psysound anyway...
Benji Vaughn set seems really long and boring
and sounded more technoish than trance for sure
he seemed really bored and lost in there looking at his laptop not really sharing anything with the crowd
if there was one anyway...
Simon set was a little bit better but still not so much melodies or cool Fxs...
sounded really technoish too
And we all know that when it comes to Real Techno there is nothing like the real thing so a semi trance live act won't do it here

I hope you guys had a better night than me
for myself I think this is the last time I ever go to a Tsunami Party since the only thing they seems to care about is money...and I'm sure at 40 quid a ticket they made a shitload of that last night...

Reallly Sad indeed

That is how i started my day. With a huge smile on my face.

First and foremost, thank you for Long Long Arms my armmsssss weeeere veeeery looooong

This party rocked top to bottom. The deco was amazing. Incredibly inventive art. The sound was superb and flawless. Conspirator gradually warmed up the floor, very virtuously and mature. The last few tracks blew my mind. Great guitarwork there.

Than Younger Brother. What a pleasant memory have you guys left me with. When you stepped on the stage and started playing, the real enjoyers of psytrance remained on the floor to follow your clever sound. I needed a surprise like this. We got hit with something tottaly different that you don't hear at any other party. Not everyone can do that. I'm really feeling the fusion of breaks, vocals and driving synths and i can't wait for your new album. You gave us a slowly building introduction to continue your excursion with 4X4 stompers.

The first half of Prometheus' set was out of this world. I heard all the tracks that i wanted to hear from you. Oscar is one one of my favourite tracks and it was so nice to hear it played by you.

Simon, Simon, man Gamma fucking goblins Insanity and unsanity...you played old and new tracks and i really liked that. I can't say anything else. Everything was said on the dancefloor.

Surrender, what a nice set man. You shook up the dancefloor right when it was necessary. I saw people resting for a little bit and than they jumped up immediately. The track with the live-drum break was exceptional and your stuff rocks ass to mars and back.

There were two incidents that happened last night. One of them almost ruined mine and somebody else's night. but i just couldn't allow myself to think about it.

Firt thing that happened made me laugh. Some short, probably irish-german new school hippie kid was running around the dancefloor and scratching his head and screaming something about spiders. I didn't see any spiders, did any of you see spiders last night He was ultraparanoid , he was panicking and it honestly doesn't concern me how much he indulged and in what.

OK, that was funny but the next one wasn't at all.
There was a shirtless, all american Eminem type of kid(you feel me, know what i mean(?) that probably discovered psytrance recently and decided to become a "psytrancer" all of a sudden. The way he acted is not seen in psytrance clubs but at punk shows. He overexperienced. That is how i would describe it. Whatever sense-enhancer he had chosen last night sent him on a crazed out rampage at one point. First he was jumping all over the place not caring about people around him. Than he started pushing and shoving people. He went into somebody's face and shoved him really hard. I was in immidiate distance from him. He turned around and attacked me. He pushed me three times and almost fell on the floor. I reality i am not a quiet guy. But when i take an action i think well before i do whatever i do. I felt like punching him in the face but than i just thought how stupid that would be. I'll ruin my night. Good thing i didn't...but i felt like doing it. Than the same kid bumped into someone else and now he really really dashed towards this kid and PUNCHED HIM IN THE FACE several times. Than our nutcase fell on the floor and was screaming something about his balls.

It took me 10 minutes to gather myself after this incident. I didn't see that kid again because probably they took him somewhere.

This is the reason why it takes FOREVER to get to the party and the line is very long. THey comb people at the entrance and it's irritating. When things like this happen security gets really angry and next time it will be even worse.

So that is one thing i didn't like last night. Everything else was really good. Sometimes i think if people have any sense of self-control and do they ever think of the concequences of overusing things in large amounts. Newcomers can sometimes really fuck it up for other people. And what pisses me off most than anything is that they don't even know who is playing!!! THat is just a shame.

But in general the crowd was pretty wild. Nice crowd. Interesting faces and cute girls

I hope all of you had a great night. All best.

I had fun, i mean the crowd was shitty but w/e the music was AWESOME..... around like 2 am i just put the crowd aside and had fun..... also can we say shady security????!?!?!?! omg they were arresting people and like pulling people into private rooms?!?!?!? i was kinda shocked.... but w/e! Also i mean i'm very open to people comming into the psy scene, but i think some people really need to rethink their meaning of what the comunity is.... just because you you look unique in a club on doesn't mean your a "psytrancer" ..... basically people need to learn some respect! but enough with the neg again... Who decorated? I loved the art work! see you all around... erik

Despite the crowd, which I was expecting for being at Spirit, the party was really nice. The music was mind blowing, and lots of good friends...

@ Ichiro...I'll always be looking after you, bro!

@ spacemonkee...you and your man have the best energy as always..hope we can catch up with both of you outside the party scene.

@ SkyBlueGoa..you made me feel like a star...

Wow Prometheus really knocked me out, so did Simons set, way better than last years. I was glad to hear Simon actually MIX this time instead of play a series of his tracks, like he did last year. This time his set was exactly the new view on old favorites that I was hoping for. Younger Brother sounded like they were doing good stuff but the sound was TERRIBLE, especially for the higher pitched sounds. All those delicate litttle high pitched sound of flutes and such were UTTERLY MANGLED and I was not pleased by that. Surrenders set was rockin, but why was it so short, I mean Yoni did a great job too but I didnt see anything reason to switch DJs so soon...
As to the crowd... well there were a lot of undesirables, but also there were some really cool new people. Some of my friends who are into than Jam Band scene told me that a lot of the tour kids that showed up were the real dregs of their scene (the ones who only go for the drugs etc).

And damn, so much drama, the security was chasing people all night, and did anyone see who started that fight between the bare chested kid and the other fellow? This kid gets kicked in the nuts and hes on the floor barely even able to get up when security grabs him and shoves/throws him out of the club, doing nothing to the other. So all I can say is I really hope that kid started it and was just getting what he deserved because that would be pretty fucked up if it were otherwise.
