well, okey, this remix isn't that original - but it's because not everybody, i suppose, could get the original samples from The Delta.. and it works on the dancefloor - i have some very good moments listening to remixes to the very old tracks, with old special samples mixed with a new sound.
now we have few of them, and when we have more, we'd find some more brilliants between the layer of mediocrity- doesn't it make sense?
imo copyright kills the culture, just imagine the film makers suing all the music makers using the samples
and big respect to the artists who will share their old time samples on the net. btw, i don't see any reasons for The Delta to be against releasing it.. they still hope to make more money on the 2000' original or they afraid to harm the brand "The Delta", or they just don't want X-Noize & Crystal Matrix to get some (really funny) sum of money? =) anybody casting some light? =) |

this rmx was finish 1 year ago maybe more ....
we did it cus we like the track and respect delta and this unforgetable track....
we did it with no files or data from delta...
we ask for delta guys to release it cuz a lot of labels wanted to release it , we were willing to give all the money that was pay for us to the delta guys in order to release it as it was when we finish it ...
so its not a matter of money ......
but delta didnt wanted us to use the voice sample as a child and didnt wanted us to write - delta - as a child x-noize rmx , they suggested us to change the voice sample and release it in a different name ....
thats for all trance lovers who love this track and wanna hear it at home , i completly dont understand why people say ugly things here ...
since all sides, all labels ,and artists agreed,and solve this situation , in order to release a hit on cd for all to hear at home and in parties...
this track released as a x-noize-anjuna beach track in cristal matrix compilation cd , not in uotopia 2 cd |

Dude,
First of all there wasnt a thing in this thread that was ugly... There were questions raised and some ppl didn't approve your way man - this is not ugly.
Second - if u go as far as u did with this song then ofcourse u need to be prepared for some ppl that wont gonna like it yeah...
Explanation:
I for instance really like the original track. I think that your remix is good but doesn't live up to the original ( my point of view ). When I listen to the sound sample from Psyshop for instance all I hear is the famous guitar riff that not even one trance fan can be mistaken over - it is from the track The Delta - As a Child... no arguments here right? But it is named after X-Noize - Anjuna Beach....
Hehe that is as I said before highly questionable.
For many ppl this track was a milestone in trance and some actually started listening to trance thru this song. I myself wouldn't release it under other name if those that wrote the original wouldnt approve IT ALL INCLUDING EVERYTHING. It would be a nice bootleg, and there are more than a few of these in the scene and I find it pretty cool.
That was the point in this thread imo.

Dear yuli ....
let me say once again :
we did that rmx without any files .
All the sounds in that track were produced by us (xsept the speech and the guitars).
after we sent it to them , they said that we can release it as long as we take out the sample and chane the name .
So, if Delta guys didnt feel anything wrong about it .... i think that yr position in that metter , is a little bit LESS IMPORTANT ...
dont u think ??

Since it is a public forum everyone can say what they think ( I am even not blue color anymore, hehehe nice to be ppl )
If I wouldnt read this on the forum, I probably wouldnt know about it at all since I couldnt care less about Crystal Matrix releases - I like my dance music slower and less 14 year old orientated.
But I do understand what u said, and yeah if Delta don't care as u say, why should I?
From the only reason maybe that I love this music and I hate to see it going more and more commercial for schoolboyz and girlz.
But I will respond no more on this subject,

what do u want, a cookie? that's what illegal remixing is... if u got the files this whole thread wouldnt be and it would be called - X-Noise RMX... i think you should not have released it out of respect to a fellow artist in your own pool (into which in my opinion youre pissing in)...
i dont really care what you guys do... just sharing my thoughts... i hope this doesnt happen to you one day... i think you might be peeved.

well bout the slower i am not so much into it..i like them more faster..but the 14 year old orientated music i´m with on that...
and bout the comercial business i think u hit the fly...
and surrender...right on the fly also

this is a rocking track and hardly "stolen"... i don't think many people writing in this thread could produce anything near as good even given the original samples...great art has always had those who take the ideas of others and rework them to make something better... after all they tried to release it as a rmx...

This is seeming really weak. I think it makes all the difference if the guys from the Delta actually said X-Noize had permission to remove the samples from the original (which would include speech and guitar) and change the name. If this was done then all you have is another full-on clone, but if not - some serious disrespect for the innovators right there.
