Is this thread really relevant?

What we should worship if anything then it should be the sound produced by everyone here who put their energy into creating the music that we all listen to.

No matter what you worship in religious ways it should'nt matter here.

Actually i'd rather say dont worshipp anybody, treat everybody the same way you want to be treated.           For the TT beliver: www.techtrance.2tunes.com

Being on this forum should mean you believe wholeheartedly in the power of dance - to inspire, to revive, to destress, to bring people together. If there was a religion of dance then I would be a nun, but I do not believe in religion, worship or god stuff. People who dance, party outside, want to be free thinking, free living have been persecuted throughout history and especially in todays world. Dance peeps are the great invisible, unknown, silenced unified group that are slowly making space and freedoms for themselves across the planet. I am totally obsessed with dance and its power, energy, vitality, unity, human connectivity, unstructured spirituality. I dont need a written testament to follow.

Woshipping can be cool IMO. When I worship though I usually don't include other people, although physically I may be around other people. The person next to me on the dance floor just doesnt know Im worshipping because its totally in my head. If anything they probably just think im on a lot of drugs

Most of the times I have tried to include the effort has fallen flat. It seems that with spirtuality each person is an island, the act of worship is different for everyone. I just do my thing and act and sometimes worship and sometimes blasphemy according to my beliefs and instincts.

So does worshipping belong in the scene?
Yes, but not as part of the "official" scene, better as something that individuals or small groups of people in the scene do covertly or semi-covertly, as ritual is often more powerful when it is clandestine.

interestin point psycosmo I have wondered what a party would be like if it had more of ritual to it like a church service, I can see positives and negatives like you mention. I talk about hte stages I've been through in my life on the dance floor started of dancing like a maniac, then I turned in on myself and blocked out everybody creating my own space. Now I am dancing with everybody and I can feel everybody, the happy the sad the envious the proud ect. To have abit of a ritual could break down some barriers. I agree with you on religion though, its served its perpose now its just old news. yes we have a global consiousness and you can call it god or what ever you like, it not about who its about what you are contributing.
