btw i got to disagree with you Acidhive. The whole point of this scene (and any other electronic dance music) is to attend the parties and get the full experience with other people. The music will never sound better than on a big rig somewhere outside. It can not be compared to a living room listen. far from and there's nothing like sharing music with other happy smiling faces no matter what music you are into

It's not a witch hunt at this point, it's that governments around the world hate the idea of large groups of young people getting together and having a good time. Especially if they are having a good time using substances that the government cant collect taxes on. The government won't legalize and tax it however because religious people and cultural conservatives feel threatened by the lifestyle that goes with drugs, especially psychedelic drugs.

Calling it a witch-hunt is a huge exaggeration, but drug subcultures are discriminated against minorities. There is no objective reason why marijuana or LSD should be more strongly sactioned than alcohol, but they are; and that is a result of prejudices that some people hold, although they would prefer we them "values".

I don't see governments being concerned about people getting together and abusing alcohol.

And noise pollution my butt, think of all the parties miles from nowhere that got busted. The police were concerned that the deer and birds might be bothered? I think not...

here in south africa are parties dont get busted up by the police and they dont really give a shit that much, however our greatest issues for concern is drugging and noise pollution....

...so speaking from the situation of our government so to speak.....

Got you there again, there are rarely parties here and I'm a bit selfish by thinking nobody connects to the music the way I do. (Which is true by the way, because we're all individuals and nobody can connect to the music like yourself) Anyway, parties cost money and I'd rather spend that on other things.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. Not even true!! When you listen to your music on top gear PA, don't tell me you have a better experience in your living room hi-fi system...

This reminds me alittlebit of the experience we had when we choose the name for the label...

Most true HIFI systems will beat the crap out of any PA system in regards to sound quality and audio experience.

Better cables, better amps, more control over the sound, better sound conversion - Just as loud (since you are sitting closer to the sound source).

Youd be surprised

Sadly, you cant pack 500 people into most livingrooms with room to spare for dancing.
