why "DARK"???!!!

(hehe nice topic!)
... just to add that many outsiders have a tendency to describe as being "Dark" what in fact is felt as "Underground" or "Deep", simply cause they don't know what it's really all about.... when ppl don't "see", they assume it's "dark" (broadly speaking)...

I must add that it cant be only night sounds but must be evile too!
only night is not enough must have eville must be feer! some one must die in there!

Before I get to my point, I'd like to link those quotes with two others:
"Every man and woman is a star" (Aleister Crowley)
but...
"He whose face gives no light shall never become a star" (William Blake, Proverbs of Hell, in The Marriage of Heaven and Hell)
Why dark you say? Because it describes quite nicely what some artists deliver as well a primal state of aesthetic madness very common in psychedelic trips.
Not so clever terror movie samples are just bad taste  [imh(and single)o, of course]
There's nothing particularly evil about dark or darkness
John Milton's "Paradise Lost" is a good example too:
a hymn to the dark lord, Lucifer, the 'real' good hearted revolutionary, who got screwed by the establishmented god.
After reading all these posts I'm a bit too lazy atm to develop the whole idea, but I think it's clear enough for the time being.

fiouuu... done reading 9 pages! almost noone answered to xp.They all started their "own topic" in here.. "I love dark psy cause bla bla" , "dark psy is this dark psy is that" and so on... he never told that he wants money or somthing for the "Dark" term. For me.. well i really dont care about the terms and the names.. i care about muzik. If we must give a name then... Psychedelic trance is fine with me as a term and night psychedelic its nice too. As i was reading the posts i wanted to tell some things but i forgot them now... and i m lazy enough to read them again 
PS1. The only thing i remembered just now is the triplex's post about streets and bronx and stuff.. LOL man... i didnt knew that only bronx has streets that you can "walk" and "grow-up"... big lol man!
anyway... 9 pages of blah blah.. and nothing came out about the real topic...

i tottaly understand xp,the sme xit happened to me back in 1982. I was in a squat with some mates, playing ZX Spectrum, and 2 radios were on. One was playing Giorgio moroder and the other Sepultura, and this Italian couple were making love, banging on the wall at aprx.138 bpm.
We already had too much gin tonic, so i said to the guys:
- men, why dont we call this Trance?
And the guys went:
- Oh yeahh, sure, whatever, why not.
Fortunatly i registered it soon enough, so now i'm filthy rich.. |

why dark?
because the sun is hide his light behind the dark clouds of chaos...and we dont need to wear sunglases..like a vampier creatures...batts could not fly in the day of light...and ghostbeings waking up...dark, a serious reason to light a candle...when day is sleeping dark is waking up...

why not DARK? why to have inventors of this???
many groups are doing sometimes dark tracks or morning ones, it depends...
for example biotonic was at start very dark, and then they wrote morning + full on sounds...
for me ancestors of the dark-trance are maybe yumade and the databass crew in France, but ok they're not alone. PS sure played a big role...
but who knows???
also some goa tracks were dark so...
and for sure dark is not negative to my eyes...

I think to a party u have to play and the dark ones but also the morning ones you must mix them together and finally make sounds that everybody will feel full and pleased when he will leave from it.
