That stuff is for the modern dark trancers.
I am just an ordinary fella who simply loves good ol' predictable trance music.

Interesting topic and nice discussion all!

I also feel this-.. But i want the artists to stay creative and experiment! It will be harder for the djs to perfectly beatmix, but if you really know your music you will make it good anyway....            3o~ kriz aka krize 3o~ ....Horrordelic Records.... http://www.horrordelic.com

Is this a 2 deck question? Me likes the business of breaking the rulezzz.

Absolutely, it can be done with some fx, even dragging dumps... My question doesn't go in that direction, it's asking if the question applies to only 2 decks. Can the mathematics change when extra decks are added?

There's a fair few tracks that do strange things with time signatures, most often in the fills and turnarounds. If you do it right the listener won't even notice. Here's one it's a bit old but hey http://www.discogs.com/Unconscious-Collective-Fluorostan-EP/release/93281
Should be out there somewhere as an MP3 if you want to dl it...
Also there's a Jakatta track in 6/4, I think it's 'American Dream'.
I'm sure there'll be a 7/8 dance track out there somewhere           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

Sweet, no rules being broken is fine, although it does become boring at some point ...

They dont make it dj friendly cause these days in psytrance dj's are undervalued, everybody want "live acts" couch, cough, So nobody is mixing at big parties with cdj's so who cares about making music for mixing?????

Why aren't tracks more DJ-friendly?..Can this question also apply towards DJ-friendly Gear and DJ-friendly Moderated Forums?

Think sound manipulation and psychedelic when you run into a technical issue. Getting technically hung up over some bars not following the standards means your at the walls of the box. You can hang out and fix it as 2Decker without tricks or break standards.

The Camelot System is also a nice tool to help your bar issue. If you think/work beyond standards you can fool the trained ear.. I say fool for now..

The beats can also become the atmosphere and at this level, beat matching is elementary and not needed.

Actually, Editing is a perfect example in action. Here me out and look at it from this angle:

The tip exercised and given by ~d2~ is "if you use Audacity why don't you edit"....

Now, let's say WE the members are the tracks being played and the Psynext being the Dj.. The dj in this case is stumble like RK9 was when coming across some tracks that his skills can't handle. This is as far as the choo choo goes before outside the box/standards/skills/DJ-friendly can go in this case. So, the Psynext/Dj took the track and edited it, a radio mix.. this action was taken so he could mix it at his level. This edit suggestion is great and is also a cheat trick or just like putting FX over it to mask the limited ability/thinking/skill when handling tracks that question DJ-friendly perceptions or even extra bars, FX are cool tools.

Its nice to see tips working in action and I'm fully aware that metaphorically speaking can be viewed as off topic or even tangents when there not. Creativity and expression, are they not two of the reason why this Dj section of the Isratrance forum is here so we can break ground over DJ-friendly tracks?

Another tip I haven't notice said yet, try an ambient mix for this track. If your fast enough you can have a beat kicking in less than 16 seconds, It might be the break needed to get a hand clap from the crowed if the track rocks.

All the above is not an attack to anyone, i was only bringing awareness to the topic only to show that a tip suggested was used before our very eyes and very well executed regarding DJ-friendly tracks..
