I would like to ask if someone involved with the line-up decision for Boom2008 gives a look to these postings? If they will somehow influenciate the choices?
I believe there is room for all styles in Boom, still quality is mandatory...It`s possible to have a non-comercial, innovative line-up and still assure quality...take a look at Universo Paralelo 2007/08.
There are a lot of good sugestions in this forum, i really hope they will have some weight on the final decision...
I already posted some of mine preferences, stiil i would like to add something more. The concept of progressive trance cannot direct the music into a Housey/electro sound, where IMHO you cannot find the essence o psycadelic sound and culture...
It would be great to see Boom2008, returning to the origins(pure-psy) in all the different styles of music(night/Morning full-on/progressive). I have nothing against house or electro but i fail to see their reason in such festival....

Agreed... i said this after last years boom aswell... we are an international psychedelic trance culture, and boom festival is our mothership... so if we are one... who are they ? Electro is (for me) totally anti-psychedelic

If the organization comes to see this thread, here goes another simple request: why dont you guys recover the "Journeys" floor????
i have many great memories from that little space, in 2000 and 2002....Seeing artists like Jazzanova or Swayzak is quite refreshing in a festival such as this one....
Hope i can make it there this time.....dont want to spend 2 more years regreting not going!!

For me the the variety is very good, between different styles of psychedelic music, but electro and house music don't belong on Boom, there are so many festival where they only play this kind of music. i would like to have some realy psychedelic sound:
