When I was 6 years old I used to listen to Kraftwerk.
At 10 Jean Michel Jarre.
At 11 changed to RAVE & ACID HOUSE.
At 13 I was listening to ACID TECHNO/TRANCE such as Emanueul Top,Hard Floor,Solar quest etc..
At 14 started listening to some trance mixes by Dj.TinTin and an excellent local dj named Dj.Colin.
After that I carried on listening to Trance and Acid and so far I still didn't find a style that replaced Trance apart from good ambient and I hope this will keep up cause Trance is going in a very wrong direction nowadays beacause of$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!

I used to listen to a lot of good music all through my life but was afraid of trance found it very dark and too complex for my mind before when i was younger! Then after a lot of travelling and Infected mushroom live in Oz i found out that there is a spiritual side to music and i noticed that this was what i was looking for! I found out that my spirit wants to transmit constantly good energy and through music i can give a good feeling that is why i started working on music now! In the old days the parties were more spiritual because the music was made form the soul and not for money but for fun! There is still this in psytrance like many artists will flourish and give that feeling of flying of being free! Those are spiritual moments that we will never forget! The spirit advances and so does the music!

my mum often tells me about the days that i cant remember, and what she says is that i was very musical from the beginning and liked to play rhythmic games. i always wanted to wear, act, speak etc a bit different to the others surrounding me. these may have been ingredients which have made me this way, for this music and culture you have to like straight rhythms and openminded clothing/acting somehow.

I think I was always inclined to anything that had psychedelia in it - like music, books, movies, etc. And people. This seems to me strange, but when I started going to psytrance parties I discovered that some people I met there I already knew before - like ask this particular person for directions in the street, or make friends to other person on a completely non-psycedelic 2000 people event, and some other similar coincidents. And then I meet them at a pary, which I wouldn't say has a very big scene here in NY . Or maybe this often happens to everyone?

When I was a kid, my mum used to take me to the mountains to 'get away from it all'. I grew up in Manchester which always had a strong independent music scene.
In my late teens, I sought out more exotic mountainous destinations and decided to head off to the himalayas. By then I was aware of trance music and Goa - but didn't necessarily love it.
Suffice to say on the way to climbing the himalayas I decided to have a look at Goa and India. The party scene had me hooked there, as it did a few months later in Nepal when I came back from the mountains.
Over the years I seem to have gotten on much better with people at trance parties, then I would at normal social events. I don't think this is an allusion or drug-related. I tend to only take social substances ie smoke dope and drink alcohol. But the people I've met have always been interesting and full of life.
