its psychedelic, not psychodelic. psycho is what trance became with years, but correct term is psychedelic.
about your question - its all in your mind, thats what make it psychedelic.

@Zombi: I stand corrected on the spelling and I do agree with u about what happening to the scene in general terms....
I know psychedelia is inside of one but I was looking for what ppl think makes a party more or less psychedelic...

Ok, this is my list for a good 'psychedelic' party..
MUSIC - The key factor. Has to be something 'more' than the usual BPM + wizzes + wooshes !
DECOR - Has to be some kind of decor. I think its really important to some psychdelic backdrops to enjoy ourselves.
CROWD - I dont really care if your a hippie or a banker. Just dont act like your a psytrance guru because you happened to stumble across a Skazi cd yesterday. 
YOU - Make your mind up what kind of vibes you want to send forth. Leave all your issues outside the party.

Obviously depends on you, and how much you get into the music, your thoughts, surroundings and others, but then it really gets psychedelic if when you see majority of the crowd are also in that trance state.
So in order to trigger it, you need 'PSYCHEDELIC' music, decor, crowd and mind. Just like karma cola said.

exactly....
everything lies in the mind..and whoever says u cannot enjoy a party without the influence of drugs..should'nt be allowed to party according to me......

Music / PPL / Deco
Music: Must be killer and music thet get up with the BPM.
12:00 - 02:00 (Technotrance)
02:00 - 04:30 (Dark music)
04:30 - 09:00 (Fullon karahana)
PPL: One by one must to be Rasta man and Colorful man with blastering dance with good vibe's thet dont care from nothing only get up...
Deco: This is the beautfull thing in the party need to be perfect with alot of colors and twisted things
Ultra and more stuff like this...Goblins behaind the tree...
