Yeah man in my opinion it's the music and the people and the nature this is what makes a spiritual uplifting party! If one of this is missing well then it's just another party! A real trance party is organised just like good music it's made from the hearth not for money but just for beleiving that we can achieve a greater generation! A better freedom!

You diserve the biggest kiss  You are so right and i agree as much as possible.
What makes parties really psychedelic is individual.
For me it means first of all wicked deco's. I never thought they were THAT important, untill few weeks ago where i was in Birmingham to a party.
One of the room were TOTALLY WHITE. No decos or nothing, and i can tell you from my own experience and from being with all the people there, that, you go mental in a room like that. You receive so much from the music but you got no impression from what you see, that is such a strange feeling. No people stayed longer than an hour without leaving for a while.
Deco's means so damn much! It is as important as the music.
The quality of the soundsystem is very important as well.
And of course which style i can't tell you, only for myself, 'cos it's diffrent from person to person what they experience as psychedelic!
I know that most people put this category under the fact of really high twisted noises that makes you nuts, which i personally love  , but some people don't find that psychedelic!

well I really think that if we're talking about making a party psychedelic it doesn't matter what the music & decor are like, as, technically, a party isn't psychedelic if there aren't psychedelic drugs.
Now you can crap on with your "get yourself in the psychedelic state of mind" blabla, but the reality of the situation is, psychedelics make the state of mind - if you're not on em you're just trying to get there, which is respectable, but not the same thing.

Man, I think it really does matter what the music and decor are like... If you're tripping your nuts off at a family wedding listening to Britney Spears sorrounded by wedding cake and relatives it doesn't make it a psychedelic party just because YOU are tripping does it !!
I'm using this to illustrate a point, but I think yes, psychedelic music and decor combined with tripped out minds ( whether on something or not) make a really psychedelic party.

You are very right, the environment, music is very important also your state of mind, wether on something or not.
If not any junky would be constantly in a psy party.

i would change that to "a party isn't psychedelic if there aren't psychedelic substances", whether these substances come from drops or one's mind is irrelevant.

Well not everyone is as enlightened as you guys are. Just because YOU can get yourself to higher states of consciousness without these substances doesn't mean everyone can. For the record, I'm quite capable of getting myself into appropriate mind-states.. fact of the matter is, most people aren't (yet). Everyone is induvidual Sam!
And as you said you'r self, just 'cos some of us can get us self higher without drugs, dosen't mean everyone can, but that was not what you started out saying!
And to get everyone to that state of mind, does mean that some has to take these drugs, and some dosen't.
It's all what you give and receive and how you endure the music and how you let it grow inside you'r mind.
Always only speak for you'rself.
You can't speak for anyone else but you'r self.
Even tho' you meet a person who you find the same as you, there is never 1 thing or someone, that is exactly the same, take snowflakes for an example.
You are you'r own, keep it that way.
