psychedelic is music which is breaking conventions with other types of music - especially in the way its progressed from the 'goa' sound- to what it is today.
with this shift in style comes before it a shift in technology to produce those sounds. And as time & technology goes on, psy-trance will continue - heralding more styles from musicians of different backgrounds, such as classical to techno. the latter being a genre, which, when compared to psychedelic can be percieved as 'darker'.
Musicians who come from this background will no doubt incorporate some of the darker 'harder' melodies into their psychedelic - showing just how adaptable psychedelic trance is. Its quite amazing really!!

the trouble with most of the western front or the US is that you guys are all doing nasty nonsense concocted from drugs stores and produced in motel rooms....
All the artists you mentioned were not dark,, fungus, Digital Talk, etc were dark when they started making trance. have there production values upgraded through time are know making full on psychedelic music which some djs can play at night yet some others in the day
this is now hardcore music
if you the listoner goes back to your roots, and get back to the chazz, the weed, the acid, you will enjoy this music way way more
as it will tickle your toes and make you dance
also spirituality
dude spirituality goes out the door when we lives our days in this metropolitan hazze |

I'm sorry, people, but this "scary" or "dark" full-on cry reminds me of someone running into a bank with a watergun and yelling "this is a robbery! this is a robbery! everybody get on the floor."
If you think you have cojones, start with The Delta and if you can take it, move up to Plastikman.
Scary has never been the forte of full-on, it serves an entirely different purpose and it serves it well. Let's stay within those confines.

... to me good dark music as parasense,
fungus funk, penta, seroxat, azax syndrom,
and many others is what is real psychedelic;
not those groovy or proggy "cooking" empty
and no fun songs that for me is nothing... ppl
needs more listening and inderstanding the
music, without dark artists psy trance would
only those comercial projects that it's own
reason it's just being comercial and making

By the way, one thing to remember about dark/hard music --
dark and FAST (145+) is merely HECTIC
dark and SLOW (130) is MASSIVE
Think of The Delta...
OK, gotta try and find some music with chainsaw samples now... |

theres no evolution its not a new wave....
its all about wich music is played in the night and wich music is played in the morning,in most partys theres no difference,or they play only full on all the party or they play psy all the party......for me with out the dark theres no taste for the motning.....its build like a trip that starts weird,dark,scary,crazy.....and then when the sun pop's out the morning sound's beggin thats for me the perfect party......

i recently went to this doof ... ahh paradise location, the craziest hippie freaks, the happiest vibes..the haappiest vibes, the happiest vibez
huh i enter at 1 am..uh happiest vibez...wtf they r playyin proggy morning music in nite...i expect some dark so i stick on...more happiness, then some more, then some more..oh it sucked!!!!!!!!
relly turned me, i didnt even trip..huh i think im addicted to the dark side now..hehe nuthin else seems to gimme a hardon!
