I really hate being wrong. But thank you, that actually makes more sense than I gave credit for.

Discussing drugs can be a dangerous issue. Someone might jokingly say he too X amount of X substance, and some 12 year old who happens to have access to those things tries it out and dies or something.

When it comes to discussing drugs, I guess i have to admit, its best left to professional forums and sites dedicated to the chemistry and safe use of such substances.

I forget this is a public forum sometimes and anyone can read this information and sometimes misinterpret it.

I do apologise for my rantings. You have a point and its a very good one.

thank you for clearing that up for me.

Heh, as for original question about the music, I can agree with Detox, alot of ppl who "brought" me into this wonderful jorney went to other directions...

But there are some new talents that I think (hope) will bring something nice and fresh into this scene.

For me, Isratrance (as it stands today) is a kind of music that is full of cliches, full of pretentiousness, extremely repetitive to a degree that bores me out of my mind. When I see people on the dancefloor that relate to it, their movement depicts ego tripping characters that take them selves way too seriously and are filled with delussions of granture. That over obvious cheesy lead is the only musical message its listeners will understand and that sample that talks about drugs makes them feel comfortable with the choices they've made. When I am subjected to such sounds, I feel like the person who wrote the tunes, takes me for an idiot. Isratrance is the Xerox (photocopier) of trance music. I don't think there's ever been (I haven't heard one my self to be precise) another style of music that repeatedly spits out the same tunes from so many different people over and over again.
As for the site, it kind of reflects that scene. Great place to take the piss though

naaa.. Isratrance didnt realy reach the "masses" untill 98-99. So I doubt the word "Isratrance" was used before that. 1997? Sounds like your trying to trick me or something, hehe. *PaRaNoIa*

14-year old e-tard - IF we'r talking about the same style, then I'm imberresed to say that "Old" Isratrance is my favourite trance style. I know Twisted releases ect are much more "intelligent" and all of that. But Isrtarnce (Israliens and UFS comps.) has such a good and trippy vibe, in the fun shroomy way. Mexshrooms anyone!? So maybe "old" isratrance isnt about floating trance tracks like Goa. Amybe it isnt as "smart"
(I disagree here btw) as other psystyles as Twisted releases. But it got a great heart. There's just something about it that completes me. I guess it's because I'm a shroom-man, and this music reflects the most shroomy feelings in my heart. (Chill isnt a part of this discussion)

Gotto go!

I am talking about Isratrance as it stands now...maybe a bit back to that dreadfull uplifting Nitzo-something the locals call it. When someone brings that term up, that is what springs to mind.
By the way I am not saying that music should not be fun, I like groovy funky tunes, I just don't like tunes that sound like bad euro hard dance.
Although I never liked IM, I could appreciate their older tunes. I did like some old AP tunes, but that is the long past, which unfortunately (for the israelis mainly) is long forgotten.

Sorry, i only read the topic so i answer to that.

Isratrance is to me all about moderation, because Someone killed someone killed psynews topic. Just when it begun to feel like home, same people arguing with each other.. that made me realise that is what i like about psynews. haha.

Me, tricks you ? No way...
It's just our site exists from '97, so I was just wondering what was the first. That's all.
