I think the most creative bassline in groovyness may come from "the nordic countries", but that´s propably because i live here and can relate to our sounds more easily.
I don´t like the dakadaka eithere, but bumdakabumdaka is better:)

basslines creativity isnt conected to countries
those full on basslines exsist in israel, russia, spain, nordic countries and all around the world!
and what the fuck etiopia or somalia got to do with uncreative basslines for cring out loud???

..i think u are totally wrong! u should know that basslines are divided for good and bad basslines. for example the good somalian bassline is GOUMBANTOUBAGOUMBANTOUBAGOUMBANTOUBAGOUMBANTOUBAGOUMBANTOUBAGOUMBANTOUBAGOUMBANTOUBAGOUMBANTOUBAGOUMBANTOUBA....and it has be performed by the somalian artist. u can never understand this baslline cause u are FOR SURE not somalian! are u? no!

...the bad etopina or nordic basline starts from waadioukblouuuum and it is always untuned (i eplaned why and when..u know cold swet)

..the most creative bassline comes from poland - and that WHY poland come to EU so fast.

..btw, i can't agree that russian bassline umtaukaugouma is not creative! it's fukin creative and if somene thinks that is not - he is totally without taste, nose, ears and he has the red hair or he is etiopian in 100%!

...btw, do u have a map? look at the map...the all vertical lines means the good basslines and the horisontal ones the worse basslines. the all baslines meet at the same point at antarctica - and somewhere else.

i've lost my legs on partizan party near Kwaghadu city of Boomshka , so please don't remind me mines ..... this is disrespectful and "crying" wicked.

About globe ...... i have it and it seems that all basslines come together in Antarctica and Antarctida

so most creative basslines for sure is Eskimo .....

that's why Liam Hawlett sent to Eskimo remix request ...... and Liam knows what he doing .....except the year he worked as Macdonalds employe , where he met with Maxim who came to rob this fastfood ....... so Maxim is Ethiopic and also his Grand Father was Agunda Kwaghadu , city in which i live name of him ...... and every where here u can buy Prodigy and Eskimo underwear....

People like listening to the same thing over and over. Actually, the entire concept of "funk" and "groove" has been maimed and then boiled alive in the mainstream of psytrance, because appearantly people dance to bassdrums and basslines and not to the groove of a track.

Just like in the good old nitzhonot/clubtrance days.

You can never expect the big part of the crowd to go for elitist nuances. You should expect them to understand the lowest common denomenator - and even then, they 'll understand it better if it's as simple as it gets, and in psytrance, it's the bassdrum and bassline.

We don't need to be ashamed of this though. It happened to every scene in the world (does someone notice how 99% of DnB tracks use the same basic drumloop?). It's been a long time since psytrance was a scene that stood out from the others in any way, so this is to be expected.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222
