i agree that SP has some good iniciatives, like Respect as u said, and people trying to do something diferent, but honestly, with all respect, SP (and even rj) were never "the" place for me.
i still prefer to travel to GO, BA and BH.. or trip to the most far as possible from SP-RJ

Brasilia (Capital) has some good party, and some bad commercial 10.000 people partys...
But we have a lot of freaks who reaaly dig on it!
A good place is located 270 km from here (Brasilia) it is Called Chapada dos Veadeiros, Its a regions with lots of cristals, Nature, Water falls, ufo and psy trance...

In Natal everything is in the beggining... no cops repression but lots of enviromental papers to do before doing parties at nature locations.
Of course... the picture of the parties got here before the parties itself... so now we got almost 2000 people at the parties... lots of trash on the floor, almost nobody dancig... and everybody thinking Raja Ram is the best DJ they ever saw!!! its COMÉDIA TOTAL!!!
But its awesome too, cause there is no snob scene yet, and everybody are still friends!!!!
There are a few undergroung parties at such beautiful locations its worthwhile putting up with the bad djs!!!

I didn't read all the replies but I have to agree with some things that u wrote here...
I'm from BH and for sure here we have one of the best dancefloor in Brazil...
People here really enjoy dark music (that's why we can put almost 3 thousand people in a Goa Gil party here, with almost 24 hours of dark music)... and even in comercial parties of some crews here as e-nigma, flowers and others, the line up is not full of "infecteds" or "skazis"... they put yotopia, hujaboy, tegma, neelix, odiseo, painkiller, phony orphants, emok and other names and can put 5 thousand people in the party...
Of course we have the non-sense guys, some people that go to the party and don't even know who is playing or don't care about the real thing in the trance scene... But for sure I preffer my city than Rio or Sao Paulo!!
