I do a review here and there, interviews and convert the infidel. And yes, buying the music. The good stuff.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Nice to see that these thread became funny. Let's stay on topic!

I buy my favorite psytrance CDs, try to educate people to respect nature by taking care of their gabage, help people at parties and festivals, publish interviews with artists and label owners and put my sample database online. www.fullonline.net

Every now and then I do some small, 100% free underground parties like this:
http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/62439/forum/27

In resume I do things I that makes me happy and busy, and part of this happiness arrives from knowing that my actions may change the view that other people have about psytrance.
Respect!           .

Actually 3rd Reich used to burn books, that i was reffering to, thou it up to you to decide whereas you burn ppl you art.

Small parties with limited tickets will create many sub groups of selling, and will make many small time organizers to make their parties, when money hungry "X" labels/artists will play for money. So it will became even uglier than it's now. You don't even have logical explaination of why small parties are good when i do explain it second time for you. You just said how to make small parties when noone even asked that. Moreoever it will create will larger groups of elitists like you, when psytrance won't be open-headed music anymore.

Please do not try to show me as CC lover, real fact is that your jokes are not in place since you can't ban art (eventhou i don't think it is) some ppl do think it is good, and with time and intelligent discussion (not one of yours) probably will find different music within psyscene. Only proper words can change something but saying burn studio's or whatever shit you said is being ignorant like you want to show them (Skazi alike listeners).

I understand we speak here about psyscene, but with answers like your (in elitist ignorant form) i think your are a community with ppl who think like you, since i've seen many of them here on forum. Without any explaination they just banish some artists from psytrance. Yes it is cheesy but "cheeseness" is not the thing you should fight against, IMHO. The thing is bad music when half of CD review category falls under that definition. I couldn't say CC are the dominant part of bad music but surely it's a part of it

I've said we shouldn't fight names, ie. sKazi, but we should fight bad music as whole. I'm pretty sure from music you listen i will find ugly, badly produced, non musical artists, thou i don't like to call names. This was the reason behind making such "pro CC" statement.

Regarding epilog, i wasn't sure how to spell exposition, now i know. If you read any decent book you could see that there is "epilogue" but no word exposition (the next following literature mark). So i thought you could determine alone whereas epilogue or exposition context, thou i asked for to much.

*sigh*

Why small partys are better: (since you need my "goes-without-saying" explanation to seem to understand it), because simply its more personal. (and a lot less stuff gets stolen). would you prefer to be at a festival with 10,000 strangers, or 100 people of whom you know most of? exactly.

and it IS possible, you make out as if this is an unacceptable method of partying. people are doing it every day. these parties simply arent advertsied (or done fore money )

the main problem is, the psy scene has become so flooded with commercialism, "order me a limo" Dj's, and really crap music. the good stuff is still their, you simply have to filter though it so much to find anything decent (this refers to music, parties and PEOPLE alike....)

as for me being ignorant, well, this is quite ironic, you see, you dont know me, yet you make unfounded statements about me being ignorant. this in turn unfortunately proves that you yourself are blatently and even blindly ignorant yourself. And as for you not knowing how to spell "exposition?" heres a future tip: Microsoft Word, F7.

There are so many things to be done here in my country to improve the psy scene, and especially people’s perception about it. some people still perceive it as an aggressive music.
Marquis and I , we both try to educate people about psychedelic trance, by introducing it to our forums. But it is through events and parties that people start to discover what psychedelic trance is and its true spirit.

Read your first post in here to understand what ignorant elitist is! Even *sigh* shows what you feel about yourself. I don't know how much time you in scene but i'm quite old scene git. Couple of years ago, psytrance ppl used to be more accepting community maybe now it been changed.

Overdose, now for real, you totaly miss my point. YOu want to create closed community with small number of members, whereas i live in reality where psytrance scene getting bigger and bigger each day. Small party is an answer? NO since if ie.Skazi will play at small party, crowd and party will probably be the same, shit. If large party with ie.Haltya, you will teach ie.Skazi lovers that there is more psychedelic music around and some of them will start listening to music and not ie.Skazi.

I want to define small and large, in Israel (country when i live in) 1000 members party is large event, like in Belgium or Switzerland since these are small countries. S.Africa is large compared to us, and growing scene so small and large is diffferent number for each country. 1000 members party in Israel will contain large number of "candy lovers" and "trip seekers" who are not welcomed by me since they seek not for music as i do.

Psytrance getting commercial, yes it is. IT is reality dear! We need to deal with reality and not to close ourselfs in baptist's farms. We need to accept new, isn't that what psytrance about? TO accept new, althought we accept new , we whine about them more than we teach them new music, new culture and new point of views.

Thank you for your more subtly worded opinion. i do see your point. and i understand it. however, you cant blame me for obviously seeing the "decline" of the scene, and just having to accept it, or turn away from it. if it keeps going on the way it does. it will be aweful very very soon.

the only way to fix it, it almost to start over again. small unadvertised parties, making it accessable to people who are their for the music and not to get battered off their faces on drugs, as you mentioned.

but yeah, nothing you can do but accept it or renounce it at the moment.

Peace

i beleive in the scene, tryin to keep in mind the goodies and forget the badies><><
lot of good talented spiritual creative people are involved and lots of good work is made..so i just beleive in it, and hope that the bad influence are all vanished soon. the thing in our scene is that it was free to all and so, many second class people got involved, which lead it to negative results><><if we all try to keep high quality in wat we r doing, then it reflects back to us, with the most successful positive vibration energy to go on and create th most beautiful scene ever existed till now !!!!!!!!!!!

boom shankar !!!!!!!

Well Ive lived in the US for 3 years now and I've very different things here than I did in my Goa days. Everytime I go back to India though I try to take some of the good things I've learnt here.

Since most of the Indian crowd is into full-on israeli style or very hard and dark psy what I normally take back is my p.o.v. of Chillout. Most parties here have a seperate stage for IDM/Chillage and I've always found that it makes a big difference. For starters, you can actually get to know the people you're parting with... which is great. Ive met some amazing people just being in chillout areas, smoking or doing whatever I do.

So when I do go back nowadays to organise the odd psy-outdoor, I'd make sure that I have a stage or a tent playing chillout somewhere on location.

Another thing I want to change is to get Psy out of clubs. Its probably an impossible thing to do but I still try. Im sick of seeing people cramped into tiny dancefloors while the DJ is belting out tracks you actually want to jump around too. Its a blue-balls effect. I dont really know how to counter it but I think throwing more outdoors would def. give the people an idea bout how psy should be heard.

There's a lot more, the scene is nowhere close to perfect... but this is a start.

Boom

To start with I keep on insisting to play good non commercial music in my dj sets even when there is a bad period in trance I prefare to play some old tunes than playing new tracks which are not good enough or are commercial.
I organize outdoor parties in Summer and indoor in winter.
At the last outdoor party we organized in Malta we had too many people which are not from our scene (too many means over 200) so for the sake of trance we decided to stop the outdoor parties for this summer and wait till next year until the scence calms down not to become commercial.
Also although ttrance music has changed a lot I still make a good effort to produce good music and beleive in my music even if I don't manage to succeed but I would never produce music just to become famous.
Apart from all this I try to be a good person at all times and help others which I beleive is a good part in the trance scene.

Also to give another example.....
Lately a guy in Malta who usually organises commercial trance parties (Tiesto kind of thing) asked us to help him organize a trance party of 500 people and to get a foreign artist for him and at first I was happy about it cause I thought hmmmmm...it's good I can get a good artist to Malta and he can pay for him but after sometime with the help of a friend of mine (Kemic Al) I realized that by helping this guy I would be probably trashing the good scene in Malta and ruining it cause if we hapl this guy he will be getting trance artists him self and that would be the end of the trance scence in Malta so I refused to help him do this.

play it really loud at the traffic lights, no seriously I think I contribute to the scene by spending precious time on forums getting topics about healing and the harmonious efects of the music because I think its good that we rememeber that it is more than busuiness or just something fun for the weekends. Away from the scene I try to make a good impression on the public when going to and leaving party's. I don't leave rubish at party's and pick up other peoples. Dance like the oracle between the earth and its people. Working on contributing the use of our farm for a good spiritual gathering. I am sure I do many other things too. There I've blown my own penny wistle
