My point is different, any human being should know to throw garbage to place it should be, garbage bins. This has not much to do with psytrance community, imho. It is you just being human but not a psytrancer. Just my opinion. |

How to make the trance scene a LOT better.
1) Limit parties to a small number of people. 500 - 1000 max.
2) Stop all candy ravers from entering. your not welcome. simply test them by asking them if they like skazi. if they do, they are refused entry.
3) Burn the Chemical Crew studio to the ground.
= better trance scene.

Some merely dumb answers make me think about the subject.
I don't like psytrance community or anything contains community in it. I think it creates group of elitist like we have here who thinks "we are way better than Y" or "this is our community because we are X and they are Y". Community? is it place for society freaks?
Didn't we all start from cheesy music Skazi alike? Yes we did. Things like Skazi is the opening for any new psytrance lover. Without that bridge we probably wouldn't go anywhere with new crowd. Your mission as psytrance community members to make quantity into quality regards listeners among the scene. Posts like "burn Skazi" even as joke sound more 3rd Reich sentence rather than loving community member.
Small parties? Scene got bigger so small parties isn't an answer but just creation of many small organizers or small parties, turning whole business to amateur hands of money seeking youngsters.
Stop someone from entering party? Yes it will do the trick if we were 3rd Reich but we are not, so teaching more and more ppl and make them awared of different music is the idea you think you should seek for.
Skazi? Skazi is not about cheesy music, which his personal taste and you can't argue with it but this fight is against bad quality music or music alike products. I'm sick of hearing bad quality music so i don't buy it or don't listen to it. The bad quality artists lists grows each day in psytrance scene with newcomers and elders who became shite.
Bad quality music is the main "virus" we should fught against not personal fights against cheesy artists or listeners. Bad quality music is every where, any release coming these days is bad quality, we can count on fingers the normal music, thou it never win attention. Why is that? Because every one think he can produce or be label manager. And we support these who doesn't belong to artists and label managers because of lack of talent. Stop reviewing any bad release, stop saying it is okay. Fight it with explainations and intelligent discussion. |

Psy is almost dead for the masses.It's just heavy metal and we don't know it yet. Since the beggining of this "dark" scene, and the "Pumpo-Fullon_PiuPiu" the essence of psychedelic is lost. So, some people should stop pretending.

Had you read the posts correctly you would have noticed we were talking about the Trance Scene, not neccisarily the community therein.
Here is a fact. most people suck and /or are stupid and ignorant. The psychedelic scene was created as an escapism from the foul realities of this world we live in and to create a place where we can have fun with like-minded individuals. however, what happens to our fun little world when we let people run amuck and ruin it with drug abuse (not "use"), ignorance and irresponsibility? clearly not getting what it is supposed to be about at all. and in my personal opinion, if you dont get it, your better of somewhere else.
if you actually READ my post above you would see i said to "burn Chemical Crew's Studio", i mentioned nothing about burning any people.simply their music making equipment.
Small parties not an answer? if you limit ticket sales to a small amount, what do you get?? a small party!!! yes thats right!!
the only reason we have massive festivals now, is because it generates more money.
and you mention about fighting bad quality music?
You regard Chemical Crew as producers of great original music then?
stop contradicting yourself please.

i try and initiate my friends into this genre of music ( not necessarily making the scene better )
i pm artists appreciating their work which i liked so that instills a sense of pride and achievement in them to make better music

Small parties with limited tickets will create many sub groups of selling, and will make many small time organizers to make their parties, when money hungry "X" labels/artists will play for money. So it will became even uglier than it's now. You don't even have logical explaination of why small parties are good when i do explain it second time for you. You just said how to make small parties when noone even asked that. Moreoever it will create will larger groups of elitists like you, when psytrance won't be open-headed music anymore.
Please do not try to show me as CC lover, real fact is that your jokes are not in place since you can't ban art (eventhou i don't think it is) some ppl do think it is good, and with time and intelligent discussion (not one of yours) probably will find different music within psyscene. Only proper words can change something but saying burn studio's or whatever shit you said is being ignorant like you want to show them (Skazi alike listeners).
I understand we speak here about psyscene, but with answers like your (in elitist ignorant form) i think your are a community with ppl who think like you, since i've seen many of them here on forum. Without any explaination they just banish some artists from psytrance. Yes it is cheesy but "cheeseness" is not the thing you should fight against, IMHO. The thing is bad music when half of CD review category falls under that definition. I couldn't say CC are the dominant part of bad music but surely it's a part of it
I've said we shouldn't fight names, ie. sKazi, but we should fight bad music as whole. I'm pretty sure from music you listen i will find ugly, badly produced, non musical artists, thou i don't like to call names. This was the reason behind making such "pro CC" statement.
Regarding epilog, i wasn't sure how to spell exposition, now i know. If you read any decent book you could see that there is "epilogue" but no word exposition (the next following literature mark). So i thought you could determine alone whereas epilogue or exposition context, thou i asked for to much. |
