What can we do for Delhi?

First Goa Gil, then Highko.....the reborn psychedelic trance movement in Delhi is facing hard times. Again and again, police stops nice parties with so good energy and forces ppl to suppress their happiness. is it just because of money? or is it about power? I really donīt know what to do, I canīt live wthout my music, psytrance parties, the feeling, the crowd....is there something that we all together could do to improve the situation and make parties possible, that wont be stopped to early and before the culminating point? |

Man i donīt know....suddenly the music was turned off, everybody was wondering, after some time a TV-team appeared and started interviewing the people.....seems like they needed some publicity against the bad trance-scene |

i think the ans is v clear ... keep it clean n no one can do nythin bout it ... no one can just step into a party without the permision of the club inside or the organiser , when the party is clean n people aswell i dnt think ny media or cops can stop the party like this , n y this happens all the time cuz sm ppl feel guilty as they see smthing like this n start running out n looking at them other ppl get scared n leave " why ?? y not all stay there n ask them wats a prob man ?? im not a fukedup person .. IM HERE FOR MUSIC N NOT FOR DRUGS -- "n the scene is sorted guys ..

so ya - as mentioned above, IF WE KEEP IT CLEAN , THEN I DNT THINK ANYONE CAN STOP AN INDOOOR GIG.
SO LETS MAKE IT A POINT TO KEEP THINGS CLEAN AT ALL PARTIES- its now come a time where its either the substance or the muzik---we make our choice.
n for regular partys to happen purely for the muzik, people need to sit up and recognize the fact that ok- now this is a little more serious, so lets not fuck things up for ourselves and just contribute a little by keeping the party clean -no substance abuse inside the venue or anywhere around it for that matter,
no ones stopping anyone from doin anything in their houses !
lets make a difference to how this system works, this press perceives the muzik -
time and co-operation is the key .
if we treat this as a sort of movement- sort of a new culture - then it wont take too long for th press to also realize that these parties are for the muzik and not for the substances.
they cant term the muzik as illegal after all 
just my thought, i think we should all be thinking along similiar lines though IMO

@kt : i absolutely agree but ppl dont do drugs in an indoor scene as in not openly and still it gets stop early ,y is that so..??
may b coz of the reputation of this psytrance music ppl think whr it is being played drugs r involved...so i think we need to built a repo first (lik every1 said) THAT IT IS ONLY ABOUT MUSIC NOTHING ELSE and unless and until this message is sent by media to the public we wont b able to make it. so for the next indoor gig cal the media and let those fuckers know wat it is all about.

@ pratik : i fully second wat u just wrote- thats the best suggestion so far: call the fuckn media- call them nicely, tel them they dont even have to pay entry haha and just come n see wat ACTUALLY goes down
n for this , we need all the ppl in the party to refrain from substance abuse.
its possible, just is a matter of time !

It is 100% possible bro and if we want our scene to grow we have to do this no other options left
and yea for sponserships can anyone talk to kingfisher(vijay malya) i think that guy will support our scene and also with loadz of chicks.LOL

ok, let me give you a short recapitulation:
-clean scene, no drugs around and esspecially inside the club: In Mynt Lounge the stuff is trying very hard that alcohol is the only substance consumed in the club (for sure, itīs the only substance they make money with haha). maybe the cigarette packages and wallets can be checked, if something is found it could be given back after party or not, just a proposal
-invite the media: well I did not only start that topic for spreading big speeches like in so many other topics in india section. Maybe one of you guys has contact to journalists or any ppl who work for TV/Radio.
-find sponsors: well....why not? Itīs even a good idea to ask kingfisher, they have an airline as well and international djīs like Highko/Goa Gil that travel from gig to gig allover india could easily be linked with kingfisher airline
to all partyorganisers: if you plan a party in Delhi pls do it carefully and be conscious that there are some ppl who would give you support and ideas in every way... |

yipppeee .....first thing lets have a street party in delhi n call the media n of course as its gonna be an out door street party there shall be no substances

well well, another busted scene. i dont think the approach here is right. D'zz and psy cant be dis-associated. look at its origin, substances are bound to be there (even if one person is under the influence-technically cops can bust the scene). i suggest, have fewer parties, cartalize the organization scene i.e. fewer ppl organizing them. and plz have these parties in clubs with some repute. Finally, stop sending invites to anyone and everyone. i mean, the gil party was all over facebook and HT city. this definately dosent help.
