ummm we hv our fare share of issues abroad & i think the situation is different in every country so you cant really practice whats going on elsewhere just coz its working coz it may not work in india. the dynamics are diff.
i agree with alot of what bodhivista has to say in terms of changing the perception of the cops and media which is hard but is the root of the problem as well, so it needs to be done.
also on the other hand i do agree with exotic in keeping the scene underground....underground does NOT mean new ppl cant find out the parties it just means not advertising everywhere which normally assures that the cops do show up.
underground also does not mean a database of " real trancers" through isra. it just means that till the perception of the scene is not changed using caution in how u promote.
if some poor bugger who just loves the music just wants to dance( i.e. like DOGON  ) im sure he will know about the party without having to come to isra. ppl were partying ive been told when this sections was locked.
the future of psy is not controlled by isra( thank god)but by all the ppl who are in india wanting to make a change- sounds cliche but its true.
its a multifold problem with no one solution.

Lovelylightly. If u ever attended parties here wit 0 crowd management, bad venue servies wit no decor OR any Vibe u wud know EXACTLY wat i mean .
And for being in a diffenrt country we still use the same basic mathematics formula for 2+2 or use the same OS such as Xp , maybe in a diffrnt language. But hey its doing the same work right ... So there u go . Bring the new software !
Also if we are one movement , ( which ofcourse is very necessary fr a genre ) They MUST have faced the same music as we are , or are GOING to .
for eg,
the system of providing bands at the entry is non existant here , we do wit rubber stamps  So hmmm yes i stand by wat i said earlier.
and its just an opinion lovelylight, If there were any EXEMPLARY party producers here , i wud do the oppositte in the brazil forum . Lol . ie, Tell them to come learn frm here , but alas . |

yes and im disagreeing with ur opinion with my opinion which is ok na?
please lets not get offended and take this all in the right spirit. its a healthy discussion and surprise surprise no one is bashing anyone till now.
axis i think your swaying away from the point here. if u want to learn how to manage a crowd, imporve decor, go from rubber stamps to wrist bands (!!!)etc probably the west is the way to look- i dont know.
the pt here is a more important one which is is how to have parties in peace and let everyone enjoy themselves. correct me if im wrong but i think thats the point of this entire discussion.

+1 to that My point is just that it makes more sense to discuss the kind of parties, people you want there only once everyone can party in peace without worrying if I'll get body searched at 1 am. Think that this music makes these parties inherently underground, so after the initial curiosity dies down, most of the unwanted people are quite bored of it. That makes everyone's work easier.

stop using the PM`s as well.. I dont think they are secure..

and was part of the samadhi gig that was busted
on the same day as the mynt bust..

n i think results wil be seen very shortly
for the ppl who wanna find out wats happning, they wil find out where d partys are.
like things used to be back in d day-no need to advertise in the wrong places- n clearly this is the wrongest place when it comes to parties.
<we cant change the opinion of media, coz most media(exept tehelka) is politically backed>
and tehelka would be the first to report that psy trance was clean if it was.
