Excuse me Rain but what you say is not absolutely true.

I mean Sweden and Denmark are very very cold countries but i dont think that music from artists such us Son Kite,Ticon,S Range,Koxbox,Phony Orphants,Tegma,Orion and more is dark.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

I think there is a Point why !!!

I think Israeli Artists teach eatch other in Trance and producing music ... also there are a lot cellebrations with Artists ...
So i think Everys one got Tips from otherones ...
for Example : Astrix and Delirious ...sounds quite the same ...they have some similar sounds in the Tracks and also Basslines ... but both get something own in their music ...

Did u ever Listen to the Ibiza Guys ... hehe
Gms teached lots of Artists there ...
for example Shanti ... u realy hear the Influences from GMS , Like basslines , Sounds , Percussions ... I don't say they sounds exactly the same but somehow closed ...

I also learned how to make music and Tricks from Sesto Sento , Cyber Cartell , Silent Sphere , Eskimo , Rastaliens , Beathackers and a few others... and in my Tracks i also used the Tricks and tips from them ... and somewhen i started to do my own thing (still i use some tricks from them ... or at least i try (thanx to all of them )
but i also wanna have my own style ...

And What about Scandinavien Alternate Vision , Logic Bomb and Hux Flux ... they also sound a bit like the same ... no ?
Son Kite,Ticon,S Range ... the first Tracks also sounded bit like the same ... i mean the ones i know ... Acid Casualities , Spairal Traxx releases ...

Sure in Israel lots of Artists use the same Bassline (Astrixstyle), effects , EQ settings , andandand ...
but some get realy theyre own style ...
some are realy copycats who even use the same Malodies or Guitar riffs in Tracks

I think everyone should make what he want to ...
If he like to copy someone then why not ...

I also think in Israel are the most Copycats ... but also most Producers arround the Globe ... or u know a Country where more Trance stuff happens ?

For me it doesen't matter from where the Track is ... my does matter how it sounds---->

Come on guys,
There are some very good Israeli bands, and some very good European bands. But I completely disagree when stating that all Israeli artists sound the same, and are inferior in innovation compared to European bands:

Sub6, Violet vision, A.K.D, Lish, Cosmic tone (the first album), BLT, Evil drug lords, Astrix (like him or not he revolutionized our scene, look at what full on has become; One huge copy of Astrix, but IMHO no on actually succeeds), Psycraft (wonderful and creative second album) and Shulman; these are some of the most innovative bands around.

And now I’m going to offend some people, I regard The Antidote, Deedrah, Dino Psaras (Eskimo) and all the likes, as BEING boring Noisy music, I prefer Scandinavian groove and Israeli melodic madness, JUST my opinion, and in the end (DETOX) it's all about TASTE.

Deedrah is great artists and very important!

though have to agree with "The Green Channel" on that.
i do feel disinterest in Deedrah's music lately...
maybe with hard drugs it will make me more interested...

come on... are you serious... all the names that you are telling me are mostly progressive and nothing like israelien melodic... the interpretation of it's dark is for everybody different but can't say that son kite & other are melodic...

of course you can say it is morning music but I just mean you can hear the difference very good...

astrix is also morning music but it's not like what you are proposing...

there is morning music in minimal, progressieve, fullon...

just like i said... the battle of the future buddhas is also very melodic but you can hear the difference between there way of melodic and the isralien way of melodic...

it's more creepy, sounds darker...

As far as I am concerned they do not have much variation in Israel. Full-On artist no. 2022

Tasteful is not the first word that spring to my mind...lol

European music was always more intricate for me, the ideas were much more complete and their execution was long but super exact, a thing that by itself a sure success for any trance head. I believe that the main difference between European trance and Israeli trance, is that @ the time that Israeli trance is based on certain melody most of the time, European trance builds patterns ( of... ) sounds that create a 'moving background' to what is about to happen - if it is a new melody or a new rythm. This way new elements in a track dont come as a 'surprise' to a listener but as a 'development' in the track and thus the track becomes more of a 'quality' type.

Lately, I must mention, I hear this from some Israeli artists and it makes me feel very good - Pixel, Lish, Domestic, Sub6 they all do this - take a sound pattern and flow with it creating new developments from the existing pattern.

Glaeken if you find so many similarities between Space Cat,Infected Mushroom,Astrix and Xerox then i am sorry to inform you that something is wrong with your hearing.

Space Cat is a bit different, true... Infected Mushroom is most original - in every new album it surprises me because of changes they made - but still has some melodic tracks. Xerox is more guitar soundz, more energetic while Astrix is more in "goa". Of course they have different sounds but not style.
My hearing is fine. And i still think that these project are similar cause all of them are too melodic

Mozart is melodic but is not similar to Astrix

Melody is one thing but the styles of Infected,Space Cat,Xerox and Astrix are different and easy to distinguish           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

I think it's quite a difference between different countries.

Historically, Israel has been about a vibe that combines emotion and a load of energy in a not-totally-controlled way. Of course, there are exceptions (BLT, Triac), but not all that much - this vibe exists both in Astral Projection, MFG, Oforia and in Psysex, Astrix, Sub 6 and all of those.

The only other country with a sound that can be defined in such a global way would probably be Germany (elegant structures and always a well built point to a track... everything is controlled in a way)... but once you get to the rest of the world, you just can't really apply this anymore. Give me a Swedish sound that includes Weirdo Beardo, Ticon and Logic Bomb, and I'm not even going to start about trying to find a Danish sound (with proggy acts, GOW and Koxbox) or something else like that.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222
