Are you referring to Marc Allen? He stopped DJ’ing last year as far as I know, so he could get on with his career as a lawyer.

A huge loss to the scene in my opinion, as he was both a great producer and an exceptional DJ.           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

That wouldn't be too weird. A deaf dj, now that's weird.

I know a DJ that plays down here who is the CEO of a huge ass company. I wont reveal his name though, that would just be stupid, hehehe He is a great DJ and gets the party stomping!           :: Life can be as bitter as dragon tears
But whether dragon tears are bitter or sweet
depends entirely on how each man perceives the taste ::

How about a parliament member? A few years back Dedi Tzuker (when he was in meretz) was in the Israeli parliament - eventually a party he DJed at was busted and that basically ended his political carreer.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

Omar Santana is legally blind, but he doesn't spin psytrance (hardcore & breaks)

I used to know a guy in Texas (forgot his DJ name) who had serious non-music-related hearing impairment. But he could still hear the beats enough to DJ.

I know there are several people doing the DJing + dorky grad student thing. I'm a grad student in biophysics, and I believe that Tom Anteater is about to finish his PhD doing string theory.

Yea, heard him. I expected a less hard set. But it seemed like he compensated his blindness with some really hard psy trance.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me
