Same here man Ganjagil.
I'm doing my exams and working at the same time.
I've just started to make music as well but it will have to wait till i finish my exams in december.           Rather than feeling that you're about to have the rug pulled from under you, let me teach you how to dance on a flying carpet

How about a blind Dj?

THERE'S A BLIND DJ

PAULO LOPES (QUANTICA RECS) portugal

yes my freind i have already mentioned that...and he is a great dj..i guess he has the other senses "developed" 2 compensate the lack of one of sense.one thing that is scientific proved, is one area that develops a lot, 4 a person who is blind is their hearing...i think it stays more acurate, it has more sensebility, more atention 2 soundz...           ...

hears one more---> why does having a day job gotta be weird? any day job?
a guys gotta do what a guys gotta do(girls also)
its tough managing stuff like this, at times its like were two different people?
is that good??

totally, i feel this way all the time. i'm at work and these people have nooooooo idea what i do when i'm not working i'm like batman or something.

its great to read this thread tho, i just finished school not too long ago, started doing the work thing. majorly depressing, trance keeps me sane. cool to see other people hackin it away with normal jobs.

maybe one of these day's i'll be DJ and CEO too! ha ha!

i think the diversity of ppl that come to psytrance parites is one the reasons are scene is so utterly lovely ....
i love the fact that ppl from completely different backgrounds can all come together and party peacefully for the love of the music ...

Lawyers: Mark Allen, Christoff (Absolum), DJ Pena (or will be one soon) Oren Coma. Also one of the moksha party org trio is a lawyer.

Yu-V from Doof rec is also a grad student (PhD) in Biochem.

I untill a few days ago was a tech manager of a TV studio, now I'm a special projects manager for RTVi TV.

Ilka (DJane Constance Journey) also works in the prostetics buisness.

alot of DJ's are also sound engineers for TV/Radio/sound rec. studios.

and i know at least two Medical Doctors who are heavy trippers.

day jobs are part of our lives. no shame in that.           Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.

lawyers? no shit? that's pretty cool!

as i've been thinking about producing music, etc. i'm realizing "damn, this stuff is expensive!". you need a job just to buy this crap, no way around it.

plus, beyond even living right now, you gotta worry about getting by when you're old! the permatrance lifestyle is great when you're young, but what happens when your teeth start falling out and you need help getting out of bed? you'll be glad you had a real job then! ha hah ah.

in all seriousness tho, you have to give respect to all those people working their day jobs, and then putting their own time and resources ($$$$) into making music. some great music comes out of home studios, and they do it for love of the music. perhaps because they don't have any choice!           sound is vibration
