I'll be visiting Tel aviv in the beginning of next year, and was wondering what your current view on tourism is? are there things i definatly shouldn't do, or should do? would it be ok to run around with fluo red hair etc or ... ?
if there's anything you guys'd like me to bring (legal stuff), don't be afraid to ask, if it's not to heavy i'll take it into consideration

i'll only be in the country for about 2 weeks, i'm trying to catch a flight on the 26th of march and a returnflight on the 8th of april, giving me 2 weekends in .il (one with my own birthday, and one with Geomantic's birthday -if i'm not mistaking-).
I'll be staying at a friend's house (Geo), so far i have no plans except for 1 party  So please enlighten me about other interesting phenomena in or near Tel Aviv!
Trip: this would be an ideal time for you to introduce me to your sister!

this is a long shot, but i met 3 israelies on a bus I rented myself (about 25ppl onboard, 11 nationalities) from lisbon to Boom festival (the organisation of the festival didn't have enough busses)... they knew the isratrance forum so i'm just hoping they'll read this.

Eilat = 300-350 KM from Tel Aviv area
the desert = 150 KM maximum from TA
