I myself spent last 10 years in torturing my ears in various ways, one of them, Prodigy concert, left my ears ring for a whole week after. And i checked my ears a year ago and they found that my hearing is perfectly normal and i even hear some high frequencies that most ppl don't hear.

I think I might go to a doctor too, and I bought ear plugs today (the simplest , block 30dB,1.30NIS).

Well got to go to a doctor also i guess.
Lets all go to a doctor and make a survey on whether trance is bad for our hearing.
That would be very very interesting in my opinion

I can't hear you!!!
Seriously, I'm thinking of going to a doctor to get my hearing tested. The volume used at parties damages our hearing for sure.

In my case, Trance is good for hearing.
By the way listenning to classic music may be more dangerous, it has much bigger dynamic range (If it's affecting anything ). I think the safest music is Celine Dion's music.

Heck djing makes your hearing level go down the drain. I cant hear S"#T these days. At work i always get in trouble cause i cant hear the instructions correctly. My damn hearing! I also always here someone calling my name constantly! something is wrong!!!! my hearing give it back to me!!!!!!
But i cant listen to trance at a low volume. A very big problem! |

A dangerous factor in listening to loud music in our every-lives is the duration of the listening. Listening for a few hours in a moderate to high volume is way more risky than listening to very high volume for a short time (unless, of course, we're talking about some VERY high volume like a jet engine or a chainsaw ) |
