didn't like this one. this kind of music isn't for home use(every hour neibors are at the door).
anyway the only light in this album(besides booklet)is track 6.
'greedy' for sure is the lonely good thing in this album.
keep on raving. |

i always liked skazi, exaile and the rest of the gang, and usually they make good collaborations on each other's albums or compilations. but putting 5 differant artists on each track in an album just calls for chaos as this album turned out to be.
maybe two tracks there didn't sound exactly the same as the rest. i was really disappointed.
no track caught my attention in any particular way, maybe that's because i heard them all one after the other. maybe if each track was released on some other compilation it could've caught my attention a bit more. but as it is, it was repetitive as hell.
i do hope the chemical crew will go back to doing individual albums.

Yeah I'm almost 100% with you, freakazoid. Disc is not at Chemical Crew usual quality level. All that they have before this release (Zoo 3, Void's Punishment and Exaile's Hit the Machine) were masterpieces. Here we have only few good tracks and the rest are nothing special. World Destruction & Greedy along with an oldie Gumi are very good but all other tracks far not outstanding enough.

To be honest, to best tracks on this album are:
01. Psycho Killer
02. World Destruction
06. Greedy
09. Gummi
All the other tracks are the same, nothing special, but the album got a nice concept =)

It's not that good at all, but that's the problem with most full on like tracks these days. The inspiration is all gone and to keep listening to the same old sounds over and over just doesn't do it for me. And whatever happened to old fashioned GOOD melody eh?? The "artists" on offer here don't seem to pay attention to that all that much. The melodies that are present here are not deep at all, just shallow and with some really irritating 'hardstyle' like sounds. No, to me, the progressive scene is where the music is at nowadays. In the full on scene there is little that gets my attention. Same for this cd. IMO: Crap. Avoid.

The guitar melodies in track 6, Greedy, reminds soo much of the main refrain of an old commercial dance song a couple of years ago or more.... does anyone know REDNEX? can anyone confirm?
