Sorry Paranoic Darkside but i am not into Greek pop music at all.
Maybe some stuff by Nikos Portokaloglou and Pix Lax but for sure not the usual stuff that is on the radio everyday.

Sorry but havent heard this new uplifting cd yet LOL
I dont like her music anyway,and she is also not very nice looking if you ask me so i dont know how she became a 'singer' anyway.

For your information also some partys still happen in Athens and today is more underground than the past.
Some friends involved and maybe we will see something in the future here..

i haven't checked greek forum for about 2 weeks, and this is the best present! sooooo funny topic! (and the replies as well  )
THE LEGENDARY TRANSISTANCE 11?? WOW!!!
i have some info as well.. this "music" is known as Nizhonot around the world. it started from israel alright (as nektarios well mentioned ). the huge impact in greece (and mostly athens) was mostly because of the fact that teenagers with basic keyboard knowledge were more than able to play the popeye anthem (or whatever). remember how trendy it was when you were young to buy a Casio keyboard (the so called "armonio")........ so maybe this "armonio-trend" was in greece and athens. "armonio-kids" added a beat to their basic melodies and there u go!
i hear it is still popular among a certain crowd though. however it is mostly between the age of 12-18. so, i think it has a lot to do with immaturity (both mental and musical). some parties also take place and guess where... BOURNAZI! where else? along with all the "gyfto-kyriledes" and "flwro-trendoules"! (sorry for the greek, but i don't know how to say it in english)
anyway, i don't blame anyone that made a "pass" from this kind of music. i blame those that "stayed" there for more than one day........
