Guys everybody starts from somewhere and evolves after that.
Many people started listening heavy metal and then moved to psy trance.
Many others were listening to pop music and then moved to progressive.
Some others were listening gabba and happy hardcore and then moved to techno.
Some others were listening uplifting,ambient,hip hop,laika,rebetika,nisiotika and i dont know what else and then moved to other kinds of music.
There is nothing wrong in that and actually i am happy to see that people start from different kinds of music and then start discovering more genres.
For example i see my self that grew up with music from the likes of 2 Unlimited,Jam And Spoon,Ace Of Base then moved to Depeche Mode,Bjork and Jamiroquai then had a great time listening to uplifting music which was a great trend in my highschool years,then moved to psytrance,after that started exploring 80's music from the likes of Clash,The Smiths,Madness and today i am into ambient and also pop music like the new Madonna and Gorillaz albums that really rock.
People should always experiment with music and every genre has something to offer to the listener so dont be so harsh with any genre but try to be more open minded.
