This was actually the first topic i started on isratrance, "Scandinavia Unite", however this thread was demolished by the fowl Arafela (who's name we dont speak out loud).
I think there are loads of possible combo's and yet distance turns out to be an issue. For a party like that i would suggest a big flat spot near forest and water (or maybe a huge UFO that can beam us all up).
The party outside Oslo mentioned above was a sweet attempt to make a such event, and i hope we will see more initiatives like this in the future, especially with more finnish freak people joining the scene.
-If there is a such place, then i wanna go...
I suggest a scandinavian festival during the summer!? -And is that possible at all?
-Here in Denmark its not so easy to get a permit to pull a such event (unless you wanna turn down the music at 02:00).

In addition to the above festivals there is also SEMF (Scandinavian Electronic Music Festival) and Middle Earth in Denmark. All the mentioned festivals to me seem too musically selfcentered - The Tribunal and Open Source around Dark Psy/Full On and SEMF around Full On/Progressive.
I would love to see a truly scandinavian psychedelic trance festival with scandinavian artists and with a very varied lineup representing both Dark Psy, Suomi, Progressive house, Progressive psytrance, Tech, Full On and lots more. I doubt it'll happen though, but you never know - this thread could maybe be the beginning of something cool DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

Progressive trance or House or even electro is not exactly what spring into my mind when we talk festivals here in Scandinavia... As Profane wrote. It's mostly dark, psy and full on and the occasionally very bad small chillout with a stage monitor as a soundsystem. There's way more psy and dark parties than prog. parties in Scandinavia and if you see progressive on the lineup it's 99.9% of the time warm up, pause fish or showed away into a small room with bad sound next to the big main room.
So it would indeed be most reasonable to variate the music as much as possible as Profane also mentioned perfectly.

Yes I mean also some bigger festival or of course that can start something smaller,
And of course we have good change to do that like every where else too,
And then we get people together<3
Full on , suomi, dark and progressive artist and dj"s and chill out tent and camping area <3
Dream can happend
Locations is maybe better put easier places where is no problem .

Well I know there are some locations that could be good for this type of arrangement at the west side of Norway, but it's like a long way of drive whereever you come from, except if you come from the west of Norway. Hopefully there will be a location in the mountains in the middle of Norway in the summer of 2007, or more probably in 2008 maybe. We will have to wait and see what turns up, but it have to work out some day
I guess there won't be thousands of people, but with the right promotion and the right music, I guess it could turn up some hundred good people
Anyways, I am totally up for this
