Who ever did this, is a liar and a cheater, and have no respect for the scene, and is not exactly helping, (starting with the freaking title of the comps.), so dont have any sinpathy, because they dont deserve it.
They dont exist officialy as a label, dont reply mails, dont have website, dont do parties, dont promote their releases in Portugal, no one knows who they are, and they are lying bastards

I guess that says it all doesn't it?
Seen a documentary about Woodstock and the end of the hippie generation some years ago,it kinda ended with the Hell's Angels invanding the place of the festival and everybody fighting and stuff.
I imagine that when u let the drugs take care of u instead of u taking care of the drugs things change.
Anyway,LOVE THE SOUND AND THE TRIP,and if i don't want to see i don't look.

Going back to what's happening in Portugal, and related to the topic starter...
We can´t compare the British trance scene to the Portuguese one... different universes...
To beggin with, and I do think this is one of the main points, in the U.K. there's a big lack if we consider land ownership... Private land is almost unexisting and, as so, there's no particular place for open air parties... and we take advantage of it... not a bad thing.
Now, if we think of the club culture that exists in the UK, there's undenniably more parties then there are in Portugal... Of course there are good and bad parties, and organizers and whatever, but that's like everything and everywhere...
It's up to us, by trial and error, to choose the ones that live up to our expectancies... Don´t tell me portuguese party people are a bunch of junkies that don't care about the sound, but just about the drugs, 'cos I do have to disagree with it. There are good people and bad people, and funny enough the bad people are having this tendency to appear less and less, either because they don't really fell welcomed, or they choose their own parties with their own kind of people or they're plainnly changing their ways... This is what I think people should hold on to when it cames to Trance culture... The capacity we do have to spread out our good vibes, mainly to all those kids that appear lost on "E"s and "K"s...We do have a beautifull country, full of beautifull people that have the know how of how to make everyone feel welcomed, an amazing weather that gives us the possiblity of organizing amazing parties...
What about new people making sound... everyone as to start somewhere, or do you really think that all the good acts we see now where born like that, plainly good and with all the knowledge they do possesse... Open your minds, wize up... there no place to look just at the past and moan about what's never coming back... the way is foward, always... we just have to try and keep the spirit alive and well...

OK. The point was, in an culture expanding to the rate that the trance one is in Portugal, it's more than obvious that all kind of people will try to rise up and make a living out of it. It's up to everyone to pick the good from the bad ones. It's not that bigger world, people talk and word of mouth it's still one of the main ways of passing knowledge.

Well, i never intended to make a comparison of the scene in the UK and in Portugal, there's no comparison, its a different culture and i could stay here for hours just talking about this.... And after 5years here in London .....
i say: "WE in Portugal Rock HARD!!!!"
My point is that by having free technology like Vst's and Sequencers everyone at home can start making music and calling themselves e.g. The Flash, and can create Labels and etc.... A few years ago a good artist would wait years until being recognised and nowadays everything is pretty fast and there's no identity, we are a fast consuming world" and this is taking us to a place were everyone will have a label and everyone will have a Live Act... just bullshit..... learn the art and progress and don't try to be e.g. Absolum because in that party you were on acid and for you, that's the guy you wanna be...... and from this we create a label and etc............ DON'T follow styles and sounds and fashions, go against it, do something different, its like israeli full on, more than half sound all the same, and dont dress hippie yo just cause you wanna identify yourself with a trend, believe in yourself and do watever, FUCKITALL.....
People try to get money from Psy, and in my view that's wrong, for that, do like me, play and produce other styles, styles that produce money e.g. House and Trance (i don't produce or mix this, believe me, this is just an example)
Just enjoy the world have faith in other things, like Igreja Universal De Deus or my dear SPORTING!! eheheh
This are a loose thoughts, I hope you get it, but as you know sometimes is hard to transmit your feelings by writing and in Englees...

But, why should'nt people make music and create labels? Why must they wait for years and years, b4 someone discovers then, just because that's the way it used to be? If they're good on it they will prevail if not, they'll move on... you say "don't follow styles" but then you say "do it like me"... everyone has their own path to follow. If that means going home, making some music, creating a label, so be it... We have the bliss of technologie, and we take advantage of it... Can't say I see anything wrong with it... I do get your point, but don't really agree with it.
