Believe it or not, it will happen in Serbia/Belgrade on 10.11.2007.
Artist Skazi.
There is a huge discussion on Serbian tv B-92 about this fact that party organizers in Belgrade use for parties Venue which was Gestapo building in concentration camp "staro sajmiste" where was tortured and killed over 40.000 Jews!!!!
Is it possible?? Trance artist,or any artist, at place like this. Dancing on top of the graves!!?? And it Israeli artist! I don't want to believe in this.
Why there? Belgrade is full of nice venues and clubs.
Israeli embassy posted note to Serbian asking to stop using that sacred object in that purpose and i hope it will be taken serious.
After all, just one question for mr. Skazi: How toes it feel when you making fun over 40.000 innocent victims? Shame on you. |

I suppose that you would have look at and research all the information that is available about the party. What is that is actually being said on Beo tv? Is it in the papers or the net?
Without information it's hard to say anything because you don't want to be too hasty.

if it's true then it;s pretty sad... but I guess mr Skazi does anything for $$$ these days...
if it's not true then, it's a bit stupid to make this up with no data to back it... but again mr Skazi will do anything for $$$... soon he will probably marry Dali and have super psy goa nrg children that 90% of Isratrancers will worship and Pavel will hate. |

and here is what its says:
The camp was formed on the left bank of the Sava, near the railway bridge at the entrance into Belgrade where the pre-war trade fairground (sajmište) was located. This territory which was, at that time, deserted, uninhabited and marshy, was several kilometers from Zemun and formed a part of NDH (Independent State of Croatia) territory, so the Germans asked for it to be given to them.[3]
Most of the inmates were Serbian opponents of the ocupation, as well as Serbian Romani people.[4] The number of inmates is estimated at 100 000.[5] At least 40 000 Serbian and 7–8 000 Jewish victims perished in it.[6]
The concentration camp administration had approximately 500 Jewish men who were exempted from shooting. They administered the camp in so-called "self-administration" and were responsible for distributing food, dividing up labor, and organizing a Jewish guard force which patrolled along the barbed wire fence inside the camp. The camp commandant since January 1942 was SS Untersturmführer Herbert Androfer. The camp's exterior was guarded by 25 men of German Reserve Police Batalion 64.[7]
Supplies were provided by the "Department of Social Care and Social Institutions of Belgrade’s Municipal Authorities". At the beginning of December 1941, German authorities called upon Jews in Belgrade to report to the Sicherheitspolizei and to hand over their house keys. From December 8th until 12th, Germans took them to Sajmište. Conditions in the camp were extremely difficult - the damp and the cold, hunger and epidemics. As camp inmates starved and froze to death, Jewish men (the number is unknown) were led away to be shot by German firing squads in Belgrade. They were killed in the same manner, in the same place and by the same people as were the Banjica camp prisoners. After all men were shot, 6,280 women and children were killed in a special gas truck on their way to Belgrade and buried in Jajinci. |

yes i know it may seem bad or sad or utterly cruel from one point...but i think a collective dance does kinder the spirits...though the choice of the artist is very poor

im not sure its sad.....
israeli JEWISH artist performing in the camp... its the ultimate victory... this "jew" the nazis tried to eliminate is alive and making music!
my first reaction was to be disgusted when i saw this topic... then the more i think about it, in some way this honors those that died there... we are alive and we are partying and the nazi way did not defeat us!
