Yeah, it's out and it wasn't worth the wait. In fact, this is immediately in the run for worst album of 2005 in my book. Up to trance is what the first track is called. The guy's got nerve calling this trance. That track Zuma has some really shitty vocals and he must've sung them himself. Do we need vocals in full-on? Didn't think so. Clueless this guy is. And what the hell is that cover about?? He must be in love with himself.
Read this quickly and be warned people!! Listen before you buy!!  (I have a feeling this topic will be deleted soon, like some of my other 'harsher' topics did) No plusses? Well, if you really must know, track 8 (Vida) has a nice melody. But that's it.
May I remind you that my opinion of this is solely MY opinion and that anyone who thinks this is for them should just listen and buy it if you really REALLY like it? Wow, this has got to be the most insightful review of the year.
You don’t like a CD? That’s fine many of us find ourselves in your shoes. And I’m not particularly fond of this cover either. But, have a little respect for the artists. A lot of people with different opinions than yours come here and the least you can do is offer a balanced explanation of why you did not find the music suiting to your taste, what was lacking specifically, etc, etc. You are more like mocking the guy instead. I’m not saying don’t do it… cause I’m not one to talk, but just don’t do it here, this is the review section. People surf here to read an honest balanced review to get some sort of idea what the music is like.
Your stuff gets deleted not because is harsh, but because it sounds like 12 year old kid is giving us his ‘insightful’ opinion. From our point of view to come and critique something is the easiest thing. When you create something FAR superior then by all means come and judge and destroy, but while you are simply just another listener who has his defined style, but really has NO clue how to make music, then show a little respect for those that do know more about you in the subject.

I give credit to any artist who has been able to succed in getting high profile releases because many of us have some idea of how difficult it can be in this business, this day and age.
That said, I was put off by the cover. But I still would like to know what's inside the wrapper. I hope this is not true, because I do find a few Hypersonic tracks to my liking.
So.... hopefully this thread can produce something useful for the readers......
And DJ's will be more concerned with how it might contribute (or not) to a mix.

silly music ridicules sound, lame samples. What happened to him? He was such a good artist as Psydrop. Digital culture is one of the best tracks ever.

I just came from Tower Records and i've seen this piece of plastic. Funnily enough it came with a sticker that said: The album of the year in Trance!
I bought meself 2 Pink Floyd CD's. Wish You Were Here and Dark Side Of The Moon.
I feel pretty much satisfied with the decision.

maybe he Aims 2 non- Trance crowd...

the sad thing is that this guy is super talented...and he could have made 100 times better album in my opinion
the album has a very good sound..
but the vocals are not my cup

why is he wasting his talent ?
I'm sure this guy can do SO much better than this... i think that it's not for trance crowd!
I must remember that the tracks are good, but the vocals just didn't fit at all!!

sorry pepole but i dont see here no talent at all.
psydrop was a regular israeli full on with a copy of all the elements of astrix! (in a cheap way)
& this hypersonic he his try to be like yael but again in a bad way with bad production & etc.
i dont see any talent here or ORIGINAL STYLE!!.....plz there are so much artists with orginal music & sounds & uniq production.

his previous project "psydrop" has a much better music...
man,get back to be psydrop because then you have a much better music. tracks like "suffering & noises" this is a good music...but the music of "hypersonic" i didnt like at all...except "every single sound"...hehe..

After i hear the new album i thinking thet this is one of the best album ever, Hyper Sonic take me to the new stile of trance. The vocal give me a new dimension for all the trance scene. Rock & roll, 70's and 80's influence, new sounds and new harmony. The only trance groop thet work this why is "Infected Mushroom". Thay understand thet you cen mix between vocal and trance music. Why cen i identification with vocal when i dance and listen to the music. For all the negative listener you cen stay with the old style or maybe you cen open your mind to the new stile of trance. |
