what can i say....

Native Instruments Massive

What a beautiful synth, and the architecture is brilliant, especially for modulation.

I have been trying before buying with this one, and i think Massive is definitely the next thing on my shopping list.

it is easy to program, and the sound you get from it is truly breath-taking!~

01/24/2007

A new version is available for download free of charge.

TIOS 2.0 is a combined feature and maintainance release. The installer package will update your Virus TI hardware, drivers, Virus Control plug-ins and documentation.

The new version features additional oscillator types, enhanced Wavetable synthesis and more wavetables. It allows you to see how expensive a chosen patch is and features Section Locking through Virus Control. Patches can be finally sorted by category and the onboard patch ROM contains addition 256 sounds by Matthew Stolley and Matt Picone.

Much than all the stuff about the oscillators and so on, the ppl is looking for some more "visual" than OSC'S, ENVS, and a lot of words on this topic.. so, the ppl looks for sounds like some artists, maybe they need look for theyre own sounds, but i think is better about how really a lead works inside on a track.

I'll post in my own website a tutorial on how leads works, orquestation methods and some stuff related to the psychedelic trance production, at this moment you can reach me trough my email and i'll give you all the help that u need mates!

Ty!

Hi guys,

Already spent hours to reverse-engineer this lead. Before spending another n hours, please share the know-how that is already around, how to make this twisted lead.

http://download.yousendit.com/2BDE60E20498C12A

I know it is a FM lead which is cut off modulated, but how do I get the precision.
Is it live tweaked from a basic pattern( too fast to do that)?
Is it automated(too much micro editing)?
Are the notes arrangend with some fast portamento?

How th f* is it made? And how is it controlled?

Thanks

I would like to know how i can reproduce melodies like Logic Bomb melodies in Headware album.

survey1, I don't have that album at hand, but they said in an interview that many of their tracks are in the key of G.

IIRC, they weren't very complex.           When rain dries, clouds form.
When clouds moisten, rain forms.

Hi guys. Glad I found this place!

I'm having trouble reproducing the vocal/nasal quality of the synth that comes in at :13

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/59/Astral_Projection_Mahadeva.ogg

In sytrus, a saw with two BP filters at 3x running in parallel, one to fill out the sound and the other to provide a a sort of cap, layered with the choir patch is my rough (emphasis on rough) approximation. What do you think?

Where is that nasal/vocal quality coming from?

On a related note, what is the general formula for choir patches made from standard waveforms? Maybe this is the right direction?
