Djones : Dunno exactly what youre talking about but sliding between the notes can be nice, using an effect like glitch on a tb can do wonders also.

why should he post a sample, if you experiment yourself you'll find it all out

True (and sorry for my lazyness, not even yet).
Problem is that you can make what sound you like this way, depending on what kind of sample you use and where you cut it etc. Samplers are probably the most creative synths there is, I´ve found out lately

mother of all fu"ck'en leads...well the one i created just recently in my nlead3.it needs low filtering and distortion in the host channel but i think ull find it interesting...
osc 1- noise synced with a saw cycle in osc 2(36)
osc mix at 11
lp 24
tight envelope and there ya go!!!first calss booming lead(prodigy like):) |

cyclix, it's a short plucked-ish sound with a temposynced ping pong delay effect & probably oscillator stereo spread. If you don't use stereospread, pan the sound to left.
Short attack & decay for amp and filter envs, experiment with sustain and add some release so the sound rings on for a moment. Saw & PWM pulse oscs (PW set manually or modulation automated). Relatively closed lowpass filter (or bandpass filter), with perhaps some resonance. There could also be a bit overdrive or distortion in the sound.
The sound is thin so there are probably 2 oscs in it or it's 1 osc with unison.
And play short notes. And if you use multiple oscs, detune them slightly. When rain dries, clouds form.
When clouds moisten, rain forms. |

Anyone got any idea of making nice sweeping pads..not very melodic..but more eerie..been trying from a long time now.

Open/turn on your synth> scroll through presets> find a pad sound> check the parameter settings and write down the signal path and parameter setting> modify this pad or create your own.
The best way to make any sound is to understand the structure of it.

not always necessary to find a pad sound  ,,,
u can take a some lead u made .... or make a crazy lead with loads of cutoff automation ,, and throw some reverb on it ,, and crank up the wet knob on the reverb till u like tht swishhhh sound coming ,,, and to this maybe add a little more delay ,,,
and voila !!
u hv a darkish atmospehere ,,, but be careful with the automation ,, it has to be done delicately to sound nice so it has the correct movement ,,,

Hello there guys...i just started making really dark fast psy....i need a help with my leads though...i'm inspired be people like cosmo, Highko, Highcosmo(WOooOW) kindazdza etc....can anyone help me to make those screeching fast psychedelic sounds??? i use albino and Fm7...if you could help me out just to get close to that sound i t would be brilliant..i'm really struggling
