Nice job SM and Alias!
2 questions:
1) the pdf explain the same method of the famous Infected Mushroom tutorial?
2) maybe in the rar you can put also psykick, i like it a lot and the developer is a member of this forum

What can I use to create my own kicks on an Intel based mac? VSTi or AU plug-ins? Something like Wavelab or Soundforge. I use samples currently. That works for me. But I want to learn how to make my own kicks. |

kontakt 2 is very nice.
load a sinus wave with a frequency about 40 to 60hz in it and tweak the pitch modulation. |

x(t) = e^(-t) sin( 3200e^(-8t) ) for t > 0, t in seconds
how does that sound.. anyone? I don't know how to render a wave from that.

Im trying to shape a kick but i dont know exactly how to do it, i have a screen of the wave here:
http://pablosn.googlepages.com/kicks.JPG
the first one its the kick sound i want to make, the second its my kick, i know that i have to play with pitch envelope over a sine wave, but i cant find good results.
How you do that? is it easyier on wavelab or soundforge? im currently doing it loading a sinewave at 50hz on kontakt and shape it with 2 pitch envelopes

I often got problems with kicks i like..but that sound like tockbrzz...where the brzz is something i don`t want at that can cause strong phase problems..people told me to eq it right or cut it or fade out..but the easiest way is actualy just to put a gate on it and tweak the parameters until it really fits with the baseline..in my opinion you cannot cut that precise..or its a lot of work..
just to share my experience..
enjoy..
