Kane,
You mean the arrange window? It's the main window so you should leave it where it is, and open other windows on the 2nd monitor.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

trip, if you re using a macbook with a bigger screen its maybe handier to have f.e. the mixer on the macbook and the arrange on the big screen.

I also work like that at home.           https://soundcloud.com/hazak

mmm I see... Then it's possible to open the arrange from the Window menu and just drag it to the other screen, as with any other window actually. Should work.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

Exactly what I'm doing, madscientist..

When I click Arrange under the window tab, it just highlights the arrange section..doesn't open a new window. What am I doing wrong?

          You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me?

here it works like that, just checked it.

but maybe there opens a new arrange window, and its just masking the other. did you have a look in the window menu if there are 2 arranges open?           https://soundcloud.com/hazak

its Apple button + 1 or 2 (i forget)... to separate the arrange (or piano editor) into another window.

if the number are wrong just try them all, i forget.

Logic is SICK btw. Beats the living shit out of any PC seq in my opinion.

^ I see it as kind of between Pro Tools and Cubase, and it could be better for electronic music (imo), but it definitely runs much more smoothly than anything else on a Mac.           You believe in the users?

is there anyone here who'd like to share some logic pro 8 tips n tricks?

logic comes bundled with so many effects its just ridiculous. although there are some dope EQs, I was looking for one that goes down to 0Hz. any ideas?

ultrabeat is great for psy kicks as well.

Cubasing is like Freebasing, just with audio.
Both cost more than you can afford, and leaves you sitting in a dark room with no life, craving for more.
