how do i virginize logic
like a proper restore to factory settings ?
i have some weird stuff going on

soon as i load an instrument or audio track and play off my controller or try to change one of the presets iv made earlier it becomes like this :S .... looses all the parameters au generators plugs etc everything ?

Hello peeps,
1st timer here...
So I just got some ni vsts, which includes:
absynth4
b4 II
battery 3
fm8
guitar rig2
kontakt2
kore
massive
pro-53.mac
reacktor5
spektral delay
vokator
My question is:
Which one of the vsts above should I use to make psy basslines with? and... Are there other vsts out there that are easier to use? Are there vsts out there that I must absolutely have, to make psy?
I am on a macbookpro dual core with 4gb ram, and I use Renoise to track (weird, ya?)... I havn't tried cubase yet, and I don't think I will since I can't afford it... plus I am very happy with renoise.

to start you don't need much more than NI.
look on kvr for freeware fx, later for a good eq and comp.
albino (linplug) and vanguard (refx) are very easy to setup (not like NI) and have a great (psy)sound, also for basslines.
for bassline with NI try http://www.sendspace.com/file/7jg739

killa psy looks nice! Seems easy to use... Im gonna be playing with this today... I especially like all the blood dripping from it and stuff.

I just got vanguard too, yesterday... and was able to make some spaced out psy with it. Now I just need to find albino...
n.i. seems to be a lot harder compared to these new toys. |

natives are indeed much more difficult to understand...
never heard about renoise before. seems quite weird  have to ckeck that out.
i forgot in the last post. i like very much the fx from smartelectronics. many nice plugs absolutely free. have a look...

well renoise is the rebirth of the tracker format. Before the sequencer, Everyone was Tracking. But the sequencer came and kicked the trackers' arse with its vst capability and other features...
but now renoise is taking it back because its pretty much up to par with the other sequencers in terms of features and stuff... The only difference is that the patterns scroll vertically instead of horizontally... Trackers will say that they have more control over their composition than they would if they were on a sequencer... But I can't really talk because I've never sequenced before

just checked out their site given above....
looks like a decent d.a.w to me like any other d.a.w...

downloaded and installed 10.5.3 today...
and the result = hahahahahahahahahahaha
my mac pro is running fastest than ever...... 
there has been a tremendous change in performance of logic pro also.... better than ever....
10.5.3 is really a great update ...
