Of course i care about all Artists but, personally, i'm more concerned with what will happen with Deep-Dive-Corp which is my favourite act from Free Form.

They are a very active band that released, since 2000, 3 GREAT Albums (especially the first one) with original and pretty good Ambient music.

Just hope that they find quickly other way to put out some new works.

Anyway, let's wait and see...          - BEing mySELF

Man, you just put it perfectly.
I still think we'll still keep getting our healthy dose of good music, be it from sunset - hopefully the new space safari - or plusquam - who got the financial backing and talent to keep it going - or automatic, or who knows?

You can either like Free Form or not, but one thing that people agree on is that the music that they release is of very high quality. They did a venture into new areas of electronic music, going to places between house and trance which haven't been explored. I think that their mistake was hoping the trance crowd would be the ones who would buy the music. I think that the house crowd is more open to light psychedelic touches than the trance crowd is to letting go of the teeth grinding power.

Personally, I think that this label doesn't have a place in the trance scene - not anymore. They broke down barriers that shouldn't have been there, but labels like Iboga and Digital Structures have been showing that they can do the same things and more. The same reason Flying Rhino fell apart applies here. When your own crowd looks for something else, you need to either change your crowd or change your music. They didn't do either. I hope their artists will find new homes, since they definately have a lot of talent and ideas to spare.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

kaz, free form never were busy too much on trance. look at their catalogue - its 70% experemental stuff + downbeats, their sub labels deals only with chill music, urban home listening music and modern beats. so i think u r wrong on the crowd thoughts.
iboga and free form ?? what a connection ??
iboga its a small and new label that deal with trance only and with one point of view mainly, free form at their 70 releases catalogue, deals with Music, from tottal chill to urban downbeat to 125 bpm groovers to melodic ethnic trance to progressive trance to progressive house and psy trance.
??

That's what I was saying. Free Form aren't making trance music, but advertise themselves to the trance crowd. They looked in the wrong place. I'm sure that this label could have become a leader in the progressive house scene and maybe breaking the barriers of that form of music in a revolutionary way as well. As a trance label, they don't have much to offer. And I'm saying this as someone who likes Haldolium, Deep Dive Corporation, Space Safari and Free Form's more chilled music.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

i agree with your point, but i think free form's music have more basic trance feeling than most of nowdays trance labels. their artists always keep it melodic (as trance should be), fresh (as we all wish), and Form is nothing, the Meaning is what importent.
for me space safari's "soul" or earth's "emotion" is way more Goa music than rest of trance acts that we have today.
bpm is nothing but number, feeling is all.           Believe your soul !

and dj's who play vynils and can play spirit zone and ninja tune stuff in one set its minimum "interesting".
free form as i understand didnt looked for any special crowd. only the electronic music lovers. its clear after one looking at their events line ups. trying to keep all the family together for real tribal expiriences.
i think our scene become from open minded to very close minded, where bpm say all and ppl ready to party only with as they alike.
its wrong, trance and trance ppl should be opne for every new possible expirience, to every one who party with them, to every new sound their brain can reach.           Believe your soul !
