sorry, "when u pay more attention with eyes instead of ears" arrh
ok fixed? balanced?
yours is improved, stil some boomyness coming from somewhere though this could b down to taste or a mix problem, either from kick sweep or simply because of octave/note choosen, one of them things that may resolve itself in the context of a mix no dout who knows until.. jeesh any one would think were budding engineer's lol than musicians..
perfectionism is a great to a point - takes time to evolve
its not very often we will keep it running on its own and they do (that I hear of) theres no effort in keeping it smooth, perhaps why not many tend to roll them on there own and even if they did they probably wouldn't care half asmuch as we obviously do - so I see only roads to improvement's.
once im happy when your happy is when the next level begins
Devasya Savitur
ok so heres a kick a drum on its own quickly made in bazzism, working fine now , hp and lo pass some mids and highs dipped simple pro-q
now my question is why the fuck arnt my waveforms and sound consistent in soundcloud, whats is that strange shitty artefact that gets glued into the sound after the upload process but fine in ableton...?????
how can I ask for accurate judgment when this is happening?!
lol how humble of you to say...
but with that shit artefact happening it screws up my filters etc - and wel we are after all just doing kick and basses here
lets not judge to harshly until its in context with a full workings of a tune..
im in headphones whats your excuse
ive made the mistake of completely relieng on my phones I love them that much and really I should of slapped on some speakers just to see if im balancing right...
ooooppssiee me , think im going to leave the low end until my room and monitoring is right and learn otherthings until that time is ready
well look lets b honest here - a psy bassline is dead simple to dial up on a synth... just a closed saw with abit of decay on envelope, amp and velocity..
u need a high grade on experience. u need to know about eq and compression, REALLY know! that can take years sometimes...
AND
u need good tools. u need to learn wich tools are the right for you. not all eqs provide solid low cuts... and so on. and then you need the ears and of course the right room to make real bassline with kick that will work together. so its not that simple if you think about what is all around that simple saw wave,
