wel for my taste that's what I mean.. fast rolling bass = no bottom, because it cant, otherwise would be a rumbling mess, id like to point out im not a complete newb etc , cheers for the links but read cosmis ages ago - my trouble is that over process
those frequencies I pointed out are roughly where the hollow and peaky freqs lie

Then dont over process it,make it simple at first. Also what maybe sounded uneeded in solo is exactly what you need in the mix.You have to listen instead of relying on numbers and notching like mad.
Sorry to disappoint you, dont wanna to be rude but i think both last examples you posted just wont work. They just sound out of balance together, too loud kick or too clicky bass etc.You should invest in studio monitors and your room acoustics.Headphones will drive you mad tweaking endlessly.
fair enuff dood , I am saving up and treatment goes for peanuts on amazonna not rude , needing to know when one stands is required here

There was something I did with AMT Multy-Max on my bazzism created kick drums a few years ago and it got me a wel translated bottom end - on headphones , only a matter of time and tweaking before I remember..
I love love love how the Eq work on that thing, also has input drive and limiter to finalize it..
so finally back in my most favorite place (The Studio) and had now listens on your basslines brothers.
Sonica. as said. theres something basically wrong in your last 2 examples. they dont work. dont know whats tha main fault. but to be honest your bass sounds crap. so it wont go further than it... try start with a kick that is the burner (your exaample is a good one to start but whats that crapy noise in the offbeat? maybe change the kick as first instance... . the kick alone must have the ability to bring people to dance.
Hypereal:
your example is a nice begin. the bass is good for this music. but gotta tweak in the presence of it a bit. think that could open it in space. make it more hearable. also kick very dumb. would prefer to add some spice. bass sections seems to be OK. could have more bottom. also at this fast tempo. but doesent need to have there lots of tracks by this style.
so here my new example. i know its bit bassy in the low end. but sounds very nice in the studio oh i like that. not that nice on the headphones. so what do you think bout his one?
since almost ten years i struggle with it. people always say like you do but i just love the harder grove. so i always try to finde that point of trade of between me and the masses thanx for reply

would down sampling from 48000 to 41000hz cause any problem's I think its where the shitty artefacts appeared in the offbeats.. and yeh ears refreshed the kick was a poor choice..
your k b by the was sounds muddy and it sounds the same as the first clip just without sounds... kick no power as bass is smothering it..
hpereal is just butt sucking when he says nice groove because its a standard kbbbk groove that we always hear
