So... not all of us can always buy the waves bundle or some other fancy expansive plugin. But we are not the leech-all-never-pay types so we do want to contribute our money to some developer for a nice plugin but can't afford a lot at the moment.
Which cheap plugins that are fun do you recommend? (Free ones go into the free plugin topic so please keep those out).
My personal recommendation is:

Being a huge fan of their products such as Drumazon, Phoscyon and Toraverb, I definitely recommend d16 Group, too, as their plug-ins are very affordable. (Especially now that they're having their annual winter sale with 40% off.)

I also enjoy plug-ins from PSP Audioware, in particular the Nitro. PSP are a little more expensive than d16 yet not in the league of Waves and the such-a-likes.

GSi have some interesting plug-ins to offer. I like the Type4 spring reverb and the GS-201 tape echo effect (modelled on Roland's legendary RE-201 unit).

Audio Damage offer affordable plug-ins, too. Most of their plug-ins retail for around $50, for instance, DubStation is only $39, which doesn't mean a huge black hole in one's wallet, does it?

Audiobulb's AMBIENT is pretty fun, too, and it's only £10. It's a standalone program for making ambient soundscapes. Make yourself a cup of coffee, put on your headphones and get busy.

Camel Audio are quite inexpensive, too, and they seem to have their hearts in the right place as they donate parts of their revenues to charity. I'd love to get my hands on a full version of their Alchemy synthesiser, but till then I'll have to content myself with their Alchemy Player modules.

I visited their webshop sometime ago and it still had the promo price, not anymore
