Reviews will be much appreciated...OTT, SCS, Krumelar...how was it?

DJ Nomolos (Zenon Records) was ALSO missed very much by myself - If you were there, I didn't find you, and it saddens me! I hope that Drew (SCS) finds you and gives you the CD I made for you! Cheers mate! I hope all is well! Much love to you my Israeli friend!

SINCERE thanks also to Paul, from GoaPlay, who went to INSANE lengths to make all this happen, even going so far as to have the porta-potties cleaned at regular intervals to keep us all comfortable up there! Paul, if there IS a heaven, I hope you ascend and are seated at the right (or left) hand of the father! And I MEAN that!

And would anyone who KNOWS the man that is Aes Dana give him my personal apology for missing his set at this fine gathering. It was the only headliner set I missed and it was because I've been sick and I I ate something that night which, in combination with the dust sweeping around the venue, kicked in my gag/cough reflex and forced me into my tent to lie down and try to breathe. I couldn't even hear it from where I was, but I understand it was magical. My friends' eyes apparently welled up with tears because of the beauty of this man's music, and I missed it.

Only headliner I missed, though.

Will someone also thank whoever in Green Sector is responsible for those fantastic pieces of deco that they're able to use in so many different and interesting ways, and yet still be signature deco pieces? They are beautiful. Green Sector is beautiful. THANK YOU.

Wow is all I can really say about this weekend. As I looked out over the stage and saw the amazing amount of beauty all around I was so amazingly proud of the collective of people that worked so hard and put in so much love and money in this event to make it the best festival I could have ever dreamed of.

Just to quickly list some well deserved thanks to the core group of people that really made all of this happen and who should also ascend upwards to the right hand of the creator ;o)

Bosque and Zari who without them none of this would have ever happened from planning, website, finances, and worldwide connections they had it all covered! Tony my brother and best friend from the g.o.a.Play crew who has helped take a dream and make it into reality, yee haw! Mick who's dedication to the cause of this multi-genre dream was invaluble. Kevin, and Toby who I can't say enough about how impressed I was with their tireless efforts to make sure everything was taken care of when anything came up. Greensector for the amazing decorations and forest sound system. Pascal for making the most amazing sounding main stage sound system happen while overcoming the tragic and sad death of his dog just a day before the festival, much love and prayers for him and his healing. Tim Smith who's ability to deal with all of the gear issues on stage is second to none. All the collectives that came together, Greensector, Lowpro Lounge, Rainbow Serpent, g.o.a.Play, 8Petal Creative Media, CSOUL, and any others I may have forgotten and I know there are alot of them out there.

THANK YOU SO FREAKING MUCH FOR MAKING ONE OF THE BEST WEEKENDS OF MY LIFE HAPPEN!!!!!!!!

Best outdoor party ever, period. Congratulations guys, that seriously blew my mind times 100.

The production was so serious and brilliant - really really well done.

Pixel just rocked it, brilliant music and so apt for that time of day - perfect. Thank you so much for brining him out!

And then Protoculture, wow - the guy blasted the place, didn't think it could get much better but wow. He really was everything I expected and then some.

I'm still in amazement about how well it went. Serious thanks for the party guys, I cannot wait for next year.

i may echo what other people have already said if i make my own unique review post.

so i'll just reinforce the points i agree with most:

* protoculture was SICK. he needs to be invited back to the party. and his second (downtempo) set as Nano? yeah, more please.

* simon posford in a northern california forest. on an experimental prototype sound system. all you need to know is facts, not opinion on this one.

*FREE WATER AT SUNRISE on Sunday!!! It cost maybe $50 for the water flats they put out on the dancefloor... but it is PRICELESS to the folks who should be drinking it. it certainly raised my eyebrow and made me smile. i need to see this more often, or i'll start doing it myself!

i could go on, but i would like to hear other people talk about stuff that i would have otherwise added.

psywise, i was blown away by Krumelur!
really deep and chuncky stuff.
perfect music for that time slot.
i noticed that Hallucinogen and Shpongle had the best dance floor.
