Goa PLAY... Hats off to you guys for such a spectacular event. I loved the other stage.. we found a cool rock where we chilled. Music was great. Awesome location. Everything was good... The whole event was smooth and I had the time of my life. Thanks for that. & thanks for letting me volunteer.

I really look forward to next year, and hopefully I can contribute more as a DJ/Artist.

Hello there,
My friend lost his wedding ring and was really hoping someone might have found it. It's a gold band with the inscription..."Shannan & Geoffroy - 07/06/2003"...on the intertior. As they are leaving tomorrow, please email me if you happen to have found it.

Thanks,
Enrique

p.s.best party for me since the BOOM 04...thanks to all over the years for putting on all of the parties that I went to. From the Chinese Carrousel, to Studio 56, to Camp and Sons, to Merci Hotsprings...Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Merci Hotspring!!!...To the Ranch, and finally my last Angel's camp party. What a way to go. Pixel was the best for me is such a very very very long time. So many good good things about this party, but for me it was that old time dance floor high jinks, and people smiling and just having fun. This whole era had a huge part in a very big change in my life. It was absolutely necessary as one thing always leads to another. Yeah man tomorrow is a new day dig it

A standing ovation for the GOA-Play and the Symbiosis crew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have seen it go down all over the world, but it was the first time I have ever been to a real trance festival in the USA! Home sweet home is stomping hard at last!

GREAT MUSIC! Great organization. Great vibes!

Hearing *just* Sun Control Species and Ott on the Bassmaxx sound system would have been worth twice the ticket price!!!

Cheers and THANK YOU!

What a festival!!!!
Gathering of the tribes, symbiotic movement, cultural entrainment!
The line up and workshops already were saying a lot about this gathering…..but getting there was surprisingly greater
Good production, 3 stages with pumping bassy sound systems, beautiful deco, good camping area, great food, lattes(!) ……
Very eclectic crowd thanks to such a varied line up….great names from folk, jam bands, dub bands, break beat djs, PSY trance bands, lives and djs(great prog and full on!!! uhuuuuu!!!!!), downtempo performances, beat boxers and comedy show.
In between the 3 stages I always found music that I enjoyed, keeping my mind and ears open to new interesting sounds and influences….
Playing there was so great, wonderful feedback on the spot, people dancing happily through the night.
What can I say….for me at least….an event where the nicest moment, where the dance floor was at its fullest, is when simon plays shpongle….its on my top of the list….what an afternoon, shpongle, ott, tipper followed in the night by heavy weight dub champs, pitch black and phutureprimitive!
Besides the massive music, very conscious workshops, repairing of the land, beautifull artworks and wonderful people…..
waiting for the coming one....hopefully a better sincronicity with other promoters will allow this event grow and develop even more....

Thank a LOT to all that helped this to happen!

One of the best events I've been to... I'll post a proper review soon.

I was wondering if there were any flyers for this event. I came from out of state, and none made it out my way... If so, are there any extras someone could mail me? I would really like a few.

E-mail me at sidetrakkt604@yahoo.com and I can give you my address. I can even send you a couple dollars for postage.

Thanks!

Yes, I too would like pictures of this brain re-arrangement that Paul and Protoculture have unleashed upon me! The puzzle has been solved (at least for me)!

THANKS!

Sending Out A Special Message from Us to All of You...
(Thank You's, Props, and Lots of Love for Everyone Involved in Symbiosis Gathering 2006)

Maybe we are biased... Maybe we just really like going out to the middle of nowhere with our friends and listening to very loud music... Maybe, since we were involved, attachment blurs our feelings...

Whatever... This was some of the sickest shit ever...

We sincerely want to thank everyone that came out and showed support. Symbiosis proved to be a potent reference point for a great many people.

The decorations were in a class by themselves, thanks to Adam CyberQuest, Rob, Jessie, and Mr. Hyde from Cosmosis, and thanks to Tony for getting the flags (they really tied the room together). Thanks to Katya for making the Porch stage a comfortable and intimate gathering place. Thanks to Josh for building the foundation upon which the music was based upon (the stage, of course).

The sound work was super pro thanks to Pascal, Guthrie, the Turbo sound people, and all the other folks who were working behind the scenes... Thanks especially to Dave Abel for heading up the Radiant Atmosphere & Coil lighting crew and doing things that I have no clue about. The lights were amazing. Thanks to Naasko and Jervais for managing the stages... To Tim Tryptamine for an assortment of technical knowledge, and thanks to Dylan BLVD for going above and beyond the call of duty for a drummer...

Give it up to the parking crew, who enabled all of those folks to fit in a relatively small space... Icarus... You know who I'm talking about... Thanks to Trevor Greensector for his long drives, time, energy, ideas, and inspiration... Thanks to Eric for his work on the gate, thanks to the In-Tickets crew for being the guardians of the threshold... (and thanks for walking into the woods because these are the stories that great events are built on.)

Thanks to Zoriaan for disarming a potentially dangerous situation and bringing our neighbors into the fold. Thanks to edIT for helping mobilize the troops. Thanks to Pablo, Paul Psynthetic, Lisa, Tarek, and all our other rockstar chauffers. Thanks to Adrianna, Griffey, and Ben for helping set up and teaching us how to fix oilpans. Thanks to Jeff Wood for a phenomenal poster.

Thanks to the bands, DJs and producers (and puppets) that raged a top notch sound system immersing the land and people with sound therapy and collective vibration. Thanks to the speakers for knowledge, wisdom, and inspiration. Much respect and thanks to Gabriel, Chlorophil, and the other 'TBA' and 'standby!' musicians who helped us transform moments of chaos into blissful surprises. And thanks to Zoltan for the Blue Monkey on Stilts.

Thanks to the Mia for all the little things, thanks to Matty just because, and to all the permaculture instructors and students for raising the bar, pushing the envelope, and redefining what a gathering can be... and whoever made that sign on the road that said "Breathe."

Thanks to Nikos for holding down the movie dome and capturing some footage for posterity... Thanks to Roman and Jen from Tribe 13 for catalyzing the art gallery and making the forest come alive with some visionary journey-space... Thanks to Kris D and J Garcia for the live art. Thanks to JacobEye and Boris Videolicious for mashing holes in the space time continuum (where are we again?)... And thanks to everyone who shared their photos online. We were too busy to take many ourselves.

Thanks to Lynx and friends for reflecting our spiritual nature in the Equinox Ritual, and to Veronica and the Healing Angels in the 'Shanti' Space... Thanks to Phoenix Rising for their mesmerizing relationship to fire, and thanks to Pure Cirkus for the painted faces, juggling balls, and general horseplay.

Thanks to Jared and Adam for putting on phenomenal exhibitions of highly technical glass blowing, and thanks to Jared's mom for feeding amazing dinners to the rest of the vendors, staff, and everyone else who came within 20 feet of her. Thanks to William for piloting the fire truck and negotiating our water situation and special thanks to Goldilox, the last DJ on the grounds (quite literally) for her extensive and intimate knowledge and efforts towards recycling.

Thanks to the volunteers and staff who helped us pull off a helluva party, thanks to the control center for guiding us to our missions and being ambassadors for our tribe, thanks to the Symbiosis Six for bringing the thunder... and thank God for Sundays...

Next year is gonna be crazy...

In the words of Hunter S. Thompson: "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro..."

With love,
The Symbiosis Six

I cant express how this experience has stayed with me. I am so happy i went and stayed clear headed for the first day and a half. It allowed me to get comfortable with my surroundings and to check out some other music in a outdoor enviroment. After that, it was time to party. Three hours before "take off" i nearly chop my thumb off!!! thank god the coconut took most of the blow. Then after making a decision not to go to the hospital (one i dont regret in the least) i had to rethink my plans for the night. Hoffman was going to have to wait, as Mckennna took his place. After initial set in X dream was over, which i found kind off commercial for my taste but they still had a good energy about them.
Then came hallucinogen which i enjoyed for the first time on a loud system. Even though he played multiple remixes of the same songs a still was entertained, plus this was all warmup for me anyway.
Pixel, thankyou so much, i stomped holes in my shoes. I have been waiting to here a set like that since Illumination. Very Dancy and a full on positive vibe, and fun in that funked out way. That is the kind off set that i would spin.
Protoculture sent everyone into a blissfull state of unity. I seriously was so into it i couldnt distinguish one song from the next, or the music from the dancefloor from the scenery, from the people. Everything melded into a singualarity. "If he would of kept going everyone would have danced of the planet." (my friend lucinda's quote and she's so right)
Sun Control Species was a style totally unfamiliar to me, and though it sent me into i whirlwind of confusion for a while it was psychedelic as hell, very tribal and very intriging drum patterns. After seeing how his music twisted a great many peoples minds i had grown a big respect for his music.
Then after a much needed break and helping a couple of people come back to reality, it was shpongle time!!!
Shpongle, oh Shpongle, Shpongle. As far as i am conserned Posford can do what ever he wants. He could play a set and F up sixty times and i would not care!!! That set was Atherial, and on that system the music, especially the bass was passing through me in waves. All the beauty and love expelled during his set was unforgetable. I cant say much else because it wouldnt do this experience enough justice
This experience, for me is one of those moments in life i will always remember. Thankyou to everyone who came, Old friends who i hadnt seen since the L.A rinkadink party, San fran Cats who i dont get to see enough, Lucinda, Nate, and Andrea for joining me and bringing all the creature comforts of camping. And to all the new freinds i made there. I love you all.
PEACE
P.S My thumb is fine
