survey: parties in israel (money issue)

well i just want to get evry1 attantion for the highest rate for parties in israel.
when i went to underground parties where all the d,js where israeli the party cost 50nis
now they charge 80-120 nis what happen !!!
even now that the situation of this country doesnt look good and ppl (espcially us)dont make the same amount of money we did and some even dont have any job, it is not right to charge so much for a party .
it is not like a forigen d,js play if it was so it is o.k but if they all israeli so what the fuck!!
i hope that evry1 is with me because if u do lets do somthing about it

well i'm with u dude!!! the partys in israel costs to much!!!! and theres no specialsuprises that u get for that money.. i hate the commercializm in the trance scene.. and i dont go to party anyymore beacuse of that..

lets make some maths with some logical numbers...
sound system - around 2500
generator - around 1500
security - around 2500-3000
dj`s - lets say 4 dj`s with cost of 500 each - 2000
bar - around 3000
deco - around 1000
this is the most basic set up for a party
now u have here around 13,000nis
lets say, that they wanna be "cool" guys and charge 50 @ entrance...
lets say 250 ppl showed up - it sums up in 12500. (and lets say that all of them paid for ticket... yeah right)
now ppl will say... what about the money from the bar?!?!
in this basic set i didnt mentioned Xtras, phone bills, gas, flyers, if not local dj/artist add to it flight ticket and a "bit" more then 500nis... and Xpences while he is staying here... and what the hell... orgenizing sure takes time, and as will all know time is money... so ppl need to get money for their time right?...
easely u r in a place where u charge 70-80 @ entrance and it still puts u with big 0 income.
so please check your facts b4 posting something

i'v been to lots'a partys that half of this expanses were effort for it and they where the best partys i'v been to!!
i'll give u an example.. last night i'v been to a party .. if u had seen the security that they put there u could of went crazy... there was such a heavy security out side so u could tought that theres a spesific " HATRA'A" about that party.. like a militery base... and guess how much it costs... 60 shekels.. cause the orginazers .. (not like most of the orginazers here in our country) r great ones!!
one thing i can say.. do whatever u like.. if u got money and u love the party so go tehn and have the best time of your life at each party u go.. i got money... i work for it but i wont spend it for a trance party that is all commercialised that i know that i wont love tha' music.. tha' ppl and the spirit of it..!

2nd u know that many orgenizers can bring more the 250 ppl to the party. right?
3rd sence when u need a lot of security and u want to tell me the orgenizer dont take the bar,  the bar is the money the drinks r the big money where have u been so u think the orgenizer pay for the bar.from the bar they take all the incom...
so me and u know that they can charge less
let change the system lets do it for us!!!!!

What Yossi gave u as an example was taking really the lowest costs.
Don't forget that most djs do not take 500 shekels but much more.
And if you bring a dj from abroad....
It's not 3-4 years ago where u could have gigantic parties with 2000 people in the desert and cops did not know about it. Don't u read the patries section? Don't u see parties are being closed down like flies?
So the organizers are left with no choice but to rent the place! And it costs, believe me.
Also, 3-4 years ago u did not have the arsim / arabs problem u got today. So u have to double or even triple security. And it costs a lot.
But yes, I agree with you that many times u have "stam" parties that cost way way too much.
You have to make selection and decide where to go to, not just to any party.
Check the line-up, see if it's worth it. Majority is never right!

i dont mind or care about how much this or that as im not realy into those details.... BUT !
its a ripp of t take for so lousy party's that the main concept of them is being almost "unproduced" a charge of sth that is worth somthing...
sorry, but i generelizing here, but noone but domo and maybe psyzion, just noon worth their charge
and still it got a huge risk of being closed
DONT PAY MORE THEN 60 nis for a party, and also that ONLY if they offer somthing music wise... ! |

all u need 2 do is check the lineup b4 the patry, & decide if the party worth 70 - 80 nis or if it dont.
when u go 2 comercial parties, ofcurse u will be disapointed from the party & say - why tha hell did I payed 80 nis 4 this shit?
if u dont like the price of a party, dont go 2 this party, make ure own parties & charge 50 nis, & we'll c if u can cover the money u spent on the organization, like yosi said, its expensive thing 2 organise a party.

please dont get me wrong, i also think that israel... outdoor parties wise, is in its worst situation ever.
i bearly attaned parties in the last years, it has to be something preaty special to get me there...
ps: to tell the truth, its much more fun to go to a good party once in 2 months then having every weekend a killer party, too much of a good thing can turn to a bad thing 
but ppl must see the orgenizers side... it may sound as an easy job (what the hell... just to put a sound system in the middle of nowere and to hang some staff around) but its not easy, and it is expenssive.
if u ask why its so expenssive?... then yeah, the answer is commercializm.
every body wanna make some bucks when a party is on site... dj`s, sound guys, deko artists, promoters etc etc...
so sure everything is expenssive.
but this is what we have, it wont get any cheeper in the future.
sure a good old fashioned friends free party sounds good from time to time, but we`ve already been there done that.
we want more then a sound system and few bonfires... and "more" costs money, both to orgenizers and croud.
so instead of biching about the situation, start making some more serious selections about wich party u will attaned next time... will it worth it.
just think about it, why the hell ppl will stop making lousy parties while ppl r still going to them?!
and another thing i dont understand is how the hell lets say "Rita"`s fans can pay 250nis for a 2 hour concert and a trance fan wont pay 80nis for 10 hours party?

What I don't understand is what has changed in the costs? Why does it cost more now then a few years ago?
All the expenses you've mentioned yossi were there years ago, maybe with the exception of security. It doesn't explain the raise of over 50% sometimes in entrance costs...
I guess that organizers became more greedy... Where are the BYO parties, just for the fun???

Some interesting points being raised here. However, i can say that in the last few months i've been to some very good parties which cost around 50-60 nis. So, as Yossi said, you choose which parties you go to. If you think the organizers are reliable, and the line-up is worth the money, than go... It's simple math
