... why is it so unpopular ? hardly anyone seems to listen to that style .. so many people cribbing how music isn't so psychedelic now , dark is too fast , fullon is to gay , prog is for cokeheads .. etc .. why not give the Saundi a go ? its funky , colorful , intense , twisted , and all that .. and then some .. all rolled into 1

the way i see suomi, it's sort of like drinking fernet. Fernet for you guyz who dont know is a drink that is originated from italy and very popular in argentina. The first time i drank fernet, i really didnt like the taste. Had a few more drinks of it, and it tasted better, and now, every time i drink it i enjoy it. It's sort of an acquired taste. Same with Suomi, didnt really dig it too much the first few times, but now when i hear it, i like it alot.......

Yeah more suomi from the distant land of a 1000 lakes.... We need this to ressurect our psychedelic past - what could be a better way than alot of suomi on next years festival line-ups ?

Its getting quite popular here in Israel... More people are listening to it, at least to the "leading" artists, Texas Haltya Squaremeat etc...

i think Suomi is more unpopular than other genres of psy, because of sound quality.
Suomi focuses on psy music, crazy stuff in the song, shifting melodies etc., while fullon and such focuses more on the sound quality.
if they play something, put it in the mix, and it doesnt sound right no matter what, then they will just erase that.
suomi just leaves it in for psychedelic enhancement
that's my opinion, any Suomi artists in here, feel free to kick me in the head for being dumb.
P.S
to the dude that said that suomi artists make 2 tracks a week, Infected Mushroom (at least in the times of the gathering and Classical mushroom) finished 1 track every 4 days..
