The problem is that people tries to categorize music in so many styles etc. like you said if itīs psychedelic music why to put all this names, which differences are? what for me is deep that might be for someone dark etc. so letīs keep it psychedelic.
But have to ask also that at the end is it so imoprtant how the people call it?

some people call it dark some not
if u have objections u dont use the term
but dont tell or "plead" others to stop
just so that it sounds right to you

yeah it was probably coined by people who had a bummer on it and cudnt handle listening to the music.... its pretty dark then i guess...otherwise fuk classifications anyway.boom.
